I have had dogs all my life some good ones and 2 great ones and some that were just there killing time,,,all were better company than most people,,,and you never come home to an empty house,,,,DOGS,,,YOU GOTTA LOVE THEM
had dogs most of my life, and yes they are better company than most people. getting another dog-same as before-from the same place- but it wont be until the middle of next year(breeding bitch that is being retired, same as my last one, will be 3 years old when we get her same as my last dog), been toying with the idea of getting a puppy in the new year so we may end up with TWO.

We bred my chocolate lab to my daughter's yellow lab. She had puppies about 3 weeks ago, 5 yellows and 2 blacks. The slacker is finally earning his keep. My son is going to take one of the blacks. If we breed them again I may take one of the pups.

one thing i love about all of the dogs i've had,as well as the ones i have now..always happy to see me..including when i get up in the morning.to being out of sight for 10/20 minutes..

ah, a spaniel, lovely dogs but can be a bit "clingy".
I used to have a spaniel cross, nice dog he was, lost him during the divorce.

Oh ya, they are clingy and a drama queen to boot. Though a hell of a gun dog, Ember loves to point just as much as she loves to retrieve. Not a guard dog, she loves everyone especially kids *sigh
