It's on 44 acres. Certainly a prepper's dream. Wished the article had more interior pics and more info on the rooms, etc. and any other bunker style preps (such as water supply, air circulation, etc.)

Ah, I stopped at the first ad, seems there are more pics. Beautiful place, but I have to cringe at all the big glass areas though. From a security standpoint.....

Don't get me wrong, love windows, just make them bulletproof glass, and with slide down metal panels, if you're going to have a 4.5 million dollar bunker house, is all.

Yeah..just had to throw my 2cents in..bullet proof glass and metal slide/roll down panals would work..and of course.security camras

couldn't help to hear to day at work..some of my colleagues were watching doomsday preppers...they couldn't understad why they do it,if the shtf they would rather die,which I really doubt,when that survival instict kick in,you do wanna live.
nearly blew a fuse listening why you don't need to do it;there is always help to get,emergency services will help all, government will see that there is food in the stores..
they don't even have enough food at home for 3 days let alone a week,and some of them have kids,one couldn't live without her smart phone...
there are times when you kinda wish we would have a small war here so that they could straighten their priorities of life..sry for the rant

Yeah.folks like that irritates me to..a person started talking like that time. And i asked.what will you do if the electric is off for 1 week..no tv no fridge or freezer.no cell or house phone.etc etc.he couldnt come up with a honest answer...

and that kind of people scare me..if something happens and they don't have anything,God only knows what they will do to survive..I have a pretty good guess about what but...

That's just it. Those who don't prep, are going to become the raiders, post SHTF. And a lot more of them. Luckily, most of them live in cities, and would have to trek miles to get to us rural folks, and simply would only do that out of desperation. Giving us all the more time to prepare for their arrival (or better yet, hide our existence from them, as they follow the road).
