has anyone gotton a coleman air mattress for camping within the last year or 2?

the reason im asking..is i had gotton one for the one camping trip that has taken place already..it worked just fine then.now it wont stay aired up like its suppose to.now keep in mind.i did nothing to puncture tear or rip it.but yet it wont hold the air like its suppose to.any suggestons?

Got to have a leak somewhere. They make patch kits for them. Check the valve stem first though, see if a leak around it.

Update on that...i took it to the outdoor fauchet, and filled it 3/4 full with water.in which i didnt want to.but dont know any other to find one.any how.i looked it over.and saw no water comeing out.then turned over .and thats when i saw thin stream of water comeing out.so i marked it with a carpenters pencil

The patch kits work fairly well. Just follow the directions well, and don't cut corners.

I got some liquied sealer stuff at wal mart today.which is idea for that size hole.all i gotta do is clean the spot in queston.then let it dry.then apply sealer, and let dry for at least 5 minutes

Nice. Let us know how well it works! I keep a couple onhand as well, especially as we are about an hour away from friends, so if it gets late, we want them to be able to crash here comfortably.

it worked.the way this one works.is,make sure area is clean and dry..(obviously enough)..then make 1st application.and let it set up for at least 5 minutes.then do this 2 more times..do this at least 5 times on larger punctures....i need to take pic of the bottle and post it..im also gonna get the air mattress out and air it up again just to make sure..

ok 1st one is the airstop..(hole sealer)...2nd is my jump starter and air mattress pump..3rd is my 3 foot extension cord and power converter for car lighter..

Reminds me of my favorite way to camp. Stick 4 1x2's in the mounting holes of the truck bed. Throw the tarp up (propped up by the cab and the 4 1x2's), a few bungee cords, and then inflate the air mattress in the truck bed. ;) Nice and dry tent, and no rain getting in.

i aired up the mattress again this morning when i got all that stuff out.and its still aired up real good..

well starting the 26th/27th..i'll most n likely be putting the air mattress and liquid sealer to the test..mom is going to have back surgery on the 26th,of this month..in which i'll be spending the 1st night or 3 with her in the hospital..i love my comfort..

Try soapy water for testing it

hadnt thought of that....and the thing of it ,is this..i know to do that when it comes to gas lines and other lines that don't have water running through them..and it also works on car tires and rims as well,as other situations..

I know on the one my wife an I have, when u unscrew the cap their is. Black tab that keeps our from exiting out the cap. If that tab is broken air will escape from the tab.

i've gotton it out,i dont know how many times just to air it up,since my last post about it.and the liquid sealer workd...
