and I need that charger, could be useful someday, and it goes straight in my EDC.

luckily don't have iPhone ;) once I get the stuff will have to try it :)

Anyone here fimilar with cell phone boosters? My new cell phone is borderline whether it will work at my place. If I climb to the top of my property it will work pretty good but marginal at the house.

Cool idea, as are a backup car charger, solar, and the flash things. I think my I phone is an amazingly wonderful tool. I couldn't survive without it now. The problem is, it's a tool designed for use in the normal today. In most disasters you loose power, both for charging and for towers. I'm kind of thinking that in most shtf scenarios it will be useless baggage not worth carrying.

Totally disagree. You can have a pdf library in your pocket! Plenty of ways to keep it charged, but a car charger is the most obvious. Even in a SHTF situation.

Not to mention, photos of loved ones you're trying to find, for example.

Also, a flashlight, binoculars (zoom function), as well as any other info (like contacts) you need.

Need to get one of these soon.

Great idea on the photos to help a search. I really haven't stored much info on mine, but may consider it.

Clyde might be able to give some advice on the booster. I've often wondered if there are any that really work or not.

I just go with Verizon. Costs more, but I have service, EVERYWHERE....
For emergency charging, there's always the truck....but I also have a power pack that will basically be good for two full charges (before it needs recharging).

I use it for conventions, or any other time I'll be away from an outlet or car jack for a long time.
I also have a multi-adaptor kit though, that basically works for just about anything.....

the vehicle is good..and i do have 2 car chargers in it,for both cell phones..(but) there's always that chance i wont have access to it like i need,or the battery in it is down.i do have my jump starter with a usb port, and a car lighter,to recharge them,(but) id rather use it to jump-start a vehicle,or use the air compressor to air up a tire.and that means i need a solar charging station..

i was only thinking of,one that i just set out somewhere in direct sun light.but having one in a vehicle i like..
