You and your side way pictures. . . It makes me laugh. I try to turn my tablet so I can see it right side up, just to have it turn side ways again. :). He is a pretty boy but you also got some good looking girls. Hunny daughters of his girls eating eggs yesterday when he went to collect. Caught one and she is now seperated.

Religar had to change my profile chicken. I cannot get them to turn around. It's the Russians I'm sure of it.

I have another new mom that had 3 eggs that are due to hatch next week. One disappeared. The mom had to eat it. I hate that. I opened two eggs that were supposed to hatch last Friday. One had nothing but yolk and the other had a fully developed fetus that never hatched. I have my doubts about the two that are due this week because the hen isn't paying much attention to them. It has been over 90 so they probably didn't need the extra heat.

Wow, I was out walking and my rooster just had sex with my leg or attacked me. I walked off and he starts following me and giving me the evil eye. I was actually a little scared.

He has never been aggressive before. This time, I'm taking one of my famous pointy sticks with me.

My mom and newest chick, (2 weeks?) Got out and it was okay for a while. Then some of the older ladies decided to peck a little. I caught the baby, but mama decided to stay out. The baby seems chilly 65° so it took me about 45 min to trick the mom back in. I started hand feeding them treats and I grabbed her when she came for hers. BAD MOMMY

My roosters witnessed me chasing the mommy hen today, so out in the yard he decided to let me know he is in charge of the ladies. He bit me.

I really can't be that mad because I was running around acting like a crazy woman. I'm going to have to be nicer when I chase the ladies and babies.

Least he didn't flog ya. . . Had one that ripped my favorite jeans.

We had one rooster that was so docile. Just go in pick him up and sit there on my lap, but after we lost him, every other darn rooster has been protective and territorial. I won't let the granddaughter collect eggs unless he is in the run so that I can lower the gate into the house.
