Now all you britts need to do is get rid of that inbred "royal" family.
They are becoming quite an embarrassment aren't they? But QEII has an empire stretching around the world if you count all the countries and territories she is listed as "Monarch" of. The sun still never sets on her empire.

There is a saying "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." The tree being the whole royal line, not Elizabeth - she was an outlier and didn't uphold the family tradition, LOL. Just look at Margaret...

Thats the Commonwealth not the Empire, when we had an empire we had even more nations in our club :) Like India, many of the stans, the 13 Colonies, Malta, Cyprus, Hawaii, Most of Arabia. etc. Wales is not a country its a Principality :) But give us time eventually we will bag the rest :).

I did not list all the members of the Commonwealth because most are Constitutional Republics without a Monarch. I only listed countries, states, and colonies that recognize QEII as Reigning Monarch. "Commonwealth Realms" are the members of the Commonwealth that recognize her as Reigning Monarch.
A Commonwealth Realm is a sovereign state in which Queen Elizabeth II is the reigning constitutional monarch and head of state. Each realm functions as an independent co-equal kingdom from the other realms.
And I listed the Sovereign States (e.g. Guernsey) and Countries (e.g. Wales) that are part of the United Kingdom. I think the Welsh might not like you saying they aren't a country, LOL.*

And I listed the "British Overseas Territories" which a euphemism for "Colonies."

Is Wales A Country?
Though part of the United Kingdom, Wales is a country in its own right.
A country is a geographic region with a distinct national entity, political characteristics, legal jurisdiction, and defined boundaries. Though part of the United Kingdom, Wales is a country in its own right.

Wales was a pricipality up to 2011 like Monaco but often allowed country status, Wales nominal head of state is not the Queen its Prince Charles , the Prince of Wales who in turn answers to the Queen. Wales was last a country many many many hundreds of years ago , Indeed many interlectuals claim that Cornwall has a greater claim to Nationhood than Wales. All of the current Commonwealth countries with the Exception of Mozambique at one time had a Royal as Head of State ( Usually Victoria or Edward) Mozambique was a French colony that decided to join the commonwealth for the economic benefits of the trade deals. Mine you its still governed from London and is totally reliant on English money to stay afloat.

Aaah you could be right, I never heard of this change in designation only in 2011

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) has defined Wales as a "country" rather than a "principality" since 2011, following a recommendation by the British Standards Institute and the Welsh Government. ... It confers no responsibility for government in Wales, and has no constitutional meaning.
Government: Principality, Feudal monarchy
Common languages: Middle Welsh, Welsh

Here is the reason I know about all the places that call QEII queen...

It all started with this Canadian coin:

So I thought it would be neat to collect coins of all the countries and colonies that had that obverse. I thought it would be an easy collection. UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand...how many more could there be?
It wasn't long before I realized that I had a monumental undertaking on my hands, LOL. Also, on closer inspection it turned out that there was not one, but four similar portraits - but all different in some ways (hair and necklace mainly) - used by various countries and colonies. That one was unique to Canada. The most common was the one used by Great Britain (exactly the same as the Bermuda coin below)

Helluva task mate :) The Jocks also print their own currency but the Welsh do not, nor do the Ulster Irish.

Maybe not minted by the Welsh themselves, but...

I do not have a coin representing Ulster Irish (yet), but I do have coins representing England (roses), Scotland (both Lion Rampant and Thistle), and coins from Isle of Man, Alderney, Guernsey, and Jersey.
To illustrate what a pickle I got myself into, just the T's alone are Tokelau, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos, and Tuvalu!

Note how they were made with the Leek and not the Welsh Dragon.
