They just can't stand to hear that good things are happening in the Trump-led America. Sure, he's a pompous ###, and says stupid things, but a lot of us voted for him for RESULTS...and that's what we are getting. No matter how much the crybaby snowflakes are frustrated by it. While this new NK development may just be more lies from Un...I also think it's a clear sign that they are on the ropes, and really had no choice in making these agreements for him to stay in power. We'll see if they hold up to it of course. Ah, it's a fine day to be right. :)

so what has been agreed over??
what are the tangible results?
good if he pulls this out, only thing I don't like is that he seems to behave like a putin puppet over russia issue.

About the only favor being done for Putin, is us staying out of the whole Ukraine deal. Of course, Trump's predecessor did as well, so for Putin, nothing really much has changed...so if there's collusion here, then Putin is holding the bag, LOL....

I tried to pin down a dyed in the wool liberal never Trumper recently on what Russian colusion was and after endless nothing He said well the Russians swayed votes by posting anti Hilary post on face book . I said 3/4ths of the post on fb are anti Trump . I asked about the 2 years and millions of dollars with the special counsel and He just kept saying its there its there They just need time to find it .

If anything, all they (Russia) are guilty of is REVEALING how Hillary's campaign BOUGHT the DNC and completely rigged the primary. They should get a MEDAL for the help! LOL....

Look, I'm often not happy about the way he runs his mouth....but like many, I believe, I elected him more for RESULTS, not his Twitter rants, etc. While unfortunate, as long as there are tangible RESULTS for American interests, I could really care less whose panties are in a wad from his words.

FTR, I did vote for him, and he IS doing some of the stuff he said he was gonna do.

That said, I also don't agree with all the twitter BS he does, or a few other things, however he is not working in the system that all of us hated imo. He's working in his own system now and still getting things done, so I'm okay with it. Shake some stuff and fire some folks that are sucking, don't let them stay in there and master the less than mediocre BS that they always manage to get away with because the system has been accustomed to letting them stay there and be useless mediocre dirt bags.

We'd be far worse off if Hillary was being her usual worthless self imo. The "feel good" progressives that want to run the country in a socialist fashion can kiss my area where the sun doesn't shine for all I care.

I still don’t like the guy, but I will say that we had a policy towards N Korea since the 50’s that was not working. To continue a failed policy is stupidity. I applaud the fact that he is trying something different. As far as real results, I don’t believe anything has been achieved yet, but we will see down the road. I also agree the war games on Kim’s doorstep were part of what made him the paranoid little shit that he is to begin with and think stopping them will go a long way towards our ultimate goal on nuke free. I like one thing the media is pointing out though about trump though. Why is he saying ‘it’s an honor to meet you’ to a dictator while being rude to our longtime allies?

The ones that are saying Trump is being rude to Our Allies are also the ones that said in past years We should take all the $$ We give to Our Allies and fix stuff at Home . Our current trade deals have been used to buy friends and loyalty . 2 things You really cant buy . Trumps not the first to bring this up .

Kind of the bottom line, isn't it?

On the allies, when it comes to trade, we've been the global doormat for far too long. We are the world's number 1 economy. With that, comes leverage. It's about time we USED it for US, vs. everyone else....for a change.

similar feelings exist in Britain towards the EU.

As they should.

The other members hitched their wagons to the good economies of the UK , Germany, and France, and are dragging all three of you down...and the Brits recognized this.

Why is he saying ‘it’s an honor to meet you’ to a dictator while being rude to our longtime allies?

It's a valid point. But, I do see his endgame here.

To get something out of NK, when we already have them over a barrel, we need to appeal to Kim's ego. So, you have to: a) make sure publicly, he saves face, b) give him a point in HIS win column (i.e. stopping the wargames), etc.

For our allies, the insults are because we need to make it clear that the doormat days are over, that the policies of the past are done. This starts with an initial rebuke. Publicly, they will show outrage at the US for it's statements. Privately, they are scrambling to renegotiate a better deal that will: a) make the US happy, b) still make their constituents happy, and c) not destroy their own dependent economies. May not have been OUR strategy of choice, but it is how the man operates. Oddly enough, it will probably work BETTER in global politics than it did in the business world. Mostly, because the other politicians have no experience in handling such a leader, and they don't have the time needed to adopt new strategies for it.

France has always tied its shirt tails to that of Germany ever since WW2, and Germany has always wanted to rule all of Europe but this time using money instead of bullets.

You aren't wrong. (and they nearly got their wish).
