You guys are picking on me. Even on a good day I bearly have a connection on my phone. When we have bad weather coming in it's even worse.

I like the idea of building my own safe space. Complete with a wet bar and a brass pole....
You going to be on the pole? I hear they are great exercise.
I would like one of those huge tether bands that is suspended. Looks fun.

I plan on getting a booster as soon as the house is finished. Plus we'll get satellite internet. Just what we need; more mindless entertainment.
I have to have satellite internet here too Arctic. Had Hughesnet for 20+ years.

Hunny been thinking about switching to Hughesnet. Do you have many problems when it rains, just like satellite tv?

That's a good question. I have to keep a ladder under my TV dish so I can brush the snow off. Now the snow has built up high enough on the roof that its covered the dish. I don't mind sweeping the dish off too much but I don't like going out at night to shovel the roof off.

Actually no. The squirrels ate the wires this year and cut service. The Directv isn't that bad either. The HD tv's in the house are more prone to outage than the others. Even the HD tv don't go out u less it's a total washout or snow which rarely happens.
My Hughes net dish is on the garage and have never had to crawl up there to fix snow.
My Directv dish is on the deck and only 4 feet off the ground so that's not a problem getting the one snow per year we get

How so?
I've has Hughes net for over 20 years. No problems. Is my husband downloads lots of stuff for his jazz show, it will slow a little, but not much and no problem.
Have young as a chance to fire it? I saw Academy has them for $219 this week

I really like Hughes net and will keep it. If you download lots, it will slow a little, but not really noticable.
If you download in Middleboro night it doesn't count so you can do all you want. We have never gone over the LAN limits.
