interesting, very much so,so there are techies that are worried.
one thing that stuck in my ear,was when thar reporter asked, but what about the rest of us?? well, duh, start prepping. ;)

I wish I had the resources that guy has! What an amazing place to build a refuge. I also thought it was interesting that the other guy said about being selfish and what about the rest of us..... as you said jontte, duh, how about start working towards taking care of yourself!

Typical left wing journalist who questions why the guy takes steps to protect his own family without caring about the rest of society, a pure ENTITLMENT mentality anyone who tries to better themselves is selfish.

I asked a libetard yesterday why He always wanted Government to do something for Him . I told Him Governments job is National security and enforcing laws and thats it . He looked like that had totally confused Him .

Sitting in My car on My 3:00 am coffee break . Still on 3rd shift

heck,then we are selfish ;)

but I do like, that even those tech savy are takeing precautions and start to think, that maybe this isn't going towards the right direction..

Not the best area, the seismic thrust in that area is one of the most unstable in North America. Also, 3 volcanoes are to the east/south east, the eastern and south eastern winds take up most of the windy seasons (not good if one of the active volcanoes decides to blow) also most islands in that area are also subjected to tsunamis. Plus one would be living in wet environment most of the time.

Too many pit falls to be considered an ideal encampment.

Also every democrat with a sense of entitlement from the west of the state will think they are entitled to redistribute his wealth and property among the proletariat if TSHTF.

Idealic in beauty, but the dampness would have its challenges. As far as volcanoes go, I've never had to consider them before. At least it would be quick.
