8.1 Quake plus 2ft 6 Tsunami Mexico

just breaking an 8.1 quake 21 miles deep off coast of Mexico and its triggered a 2 ft 6 inch tsunami.

I read a 4' sunami. Quick, grab a surf board! I saw a video of the angel spire monument in Mexico City swaying. If you look close there's some idiot standing at its base, completely oblivious.

It's not uncommon for a quake this size in that region, it's a very seismic active region and part of the ring of fire. 8s and 9s happen more often in that part of the world than anywhere on the planet, none of the scientist were surprised by it except maybe the media.
