Hello all I have started my 12 volt kit for BOB or Wild Camping.

Please feel free to add any 12 volt kit you might find useful.

So far I have:

1: RAVPower 16750mAh Portable Charger External Battery Pack, 4.5A Output and iSmart Technology - Black

I use this all the time everywhere I go I carry this so I guess it's part of my EDC, It gave me five full charges on my samsung S5 I have since changed phone that has a higher battery rating and yet to test, but am confident I will get five charges.

2: RAVPower 16W Solar Charger with Dual USB Port
  • COMPACT SIZE: One of the most compact solar chargers on the market. Benefit from free solar energy in a lightweight foldable format you can always carry with you no matter where you go.
  • CHARGE FASTER, CHARGE SMARTER: iSmart technology automatically adjusts to connected devices and provides the optimal charging current to minimize charging time.

I have not tested this as of yet other then a back yard check see if it worked, But I have read alot of reviews and it is meant to be one of the best of these type panels, I will test it on the next item I post, and update here.

3: The Fenix HL60R rechargeable head torch, rechargeable 18650 battery via USB.

This is a good torch (run times below) I will run it flat and let you know how well the above Solar Charger can charge it.

Turbo: 950 lumens: 48 minutes run-time*
High: 400 lumens; 3 hours run-time
Mid: 150 lumens; 10 hours run-time
Low: 50 lumens; 29 hours run-time
Eco: 5 lumens; 100 hours run-time
Red Light: 1 lumen; 100 hours run-time
