I'm sorry to say but it will not be the last, your ethnicity being from Indian descent will not count in your favor when the rules break down, as well as mine. There were a few insident like those throuhgout the resent history of our country, but its kept quiet about, today its probably only told through family history like yours.
 
Your perspective is very interesting to me. Does the Indian community as a whole in ZA feel anxiety about the future, as well, that potentially the country might break up, and as you said, racial civil war occur? If it did, what do you think many of them would do, in reaction? Would they immigrate to India or another Indian expat community elsewhere, or take one side or another, or try to stay out of it?
 
@JoeSA - oh, I didn't mean that it would count in my favour, I just meant that it has happened where another minority where targeted prevously in this country.

@Billy Roper - honestly I am not really sure about their feelings but the only people that I know in my race group that share my outlook on how things can go bad are the younger cousins that I have that are influenced by me. I know though that we would not be able to leave the country, nor would I take any side, I would just try to keep my loved ones out of harms way, a low profile as we try to go somewhere alot more isolated, all grayman-like.

Shadow, didnˋt mean it in a bad way just that we are in the same boat conserning minorities, so are a lot of other minorities in this country, they are in trouble and they dont even realize it, I see on your profile that you are from Jhb, according to me really not a good place to be if the SHTF, i hope you have done some serious homework around gettting out (route planning).
 
Looking back at my bug out routes both go south one as a stop over is in parys in the free state. The second goes further south to swartberg where my 'group' will fortify the swartberground star fort. The first route is the hardest since we have about thirty kilometers in the city before we leave. We are trying to get a small storage ground, more like a workshop closer to home so we walk to get to the vehicles.
