nice lil set up..the gloves reminds me.i need some new ones.that super glue be great for closeing up minor cuts just to stop the bleeding and cut down in infection.
Super glue is like duct tape there are literally millions of uses.

Remember, even what you have in your pockets can help in an emergency. Your keys can make a weapon, a leather belt could be used as a tournekett, and for me a multi tool is always on my side. Even a pair of glasses can start a fire on a sunny day. A pen can make a self defense weapon too. Just curious colt, what's in the black container that looks like a wallet? (Maxpedition)

Personally, my kit for in the city, just around town and in school are 3 separate things. (Sorry no pics D: )

City: multi tool
Water bottle
Never stick
Lighter
10 euro in pocket change
Pocket knife
24 hours worth of food

Around: never stick
Fire starter
Lighter
Multi tool
Pocket knife
Water bottle
24 hours worth of food
550 paracord

School: nerve stick
24 hours of food (nut free, evil allergy policy
Kleenex

As you can see I don't want any problems at school. May add my fire starter but I'm not sure yet

good idea on not wanting trouble at school..especilly with the shootings thats takem place since obama went into office..

My BOB/GHB also usually goes everywere with me and the fam. and Bernadette my 9mm that is the name my wife gave my gun lol

My GHB/BOB is always in my truck, and that is always near me, so guess it's EDC. On my actual person, I always carry a Leatherman tool, which generally has what I need. I have a credit-card sized tool in my wallet, and a couple of small items on my keychain that are handy (including a small LED light).

In the GHB/BOB though, pretty much have my pistol, food, water, tools, first aid, and all kinds of other doo-dads. In addition to that though, there are other things in the truck such as a change of clothes (into more wilderness-friendly clothes), hiking boots, machete, more tools, and other vehicle needs (like spare fluids, siphon kit, entry kit, etc., etc.)

I could go from software worker to Rambo wannabe pretty quickly, hehe...even though I'd just look like a dorky wilderness hiker.... Of course, my real goal in getting home would be to NOT be seen by anyone, if I could help it, anyhow.

Mine is my GHB that is in my car. I have a Field Line Tactical Patrol Daypack. Inside it I have 4 CLIF bars, pack of cigarettes, lighter, 5 wetfire pellets, some plastic sheet, change of clothes, first aid kit, flashlights, matches, paracord, emergency thermal blanket, water purification tablets, 2 maps and .38 caliber ammo.

A Keltec compact 9mm and a kubotan keychain with integral spike knife in the handle, at minimum.

Depends where I am. If I'm in bear country I carry a .500 S&W. Anywhere else its usually a Colt 1911 .45 ACP or XDM 9mm.
Great point on 'depends on where I am'. What part of the country you're in should dictate most of your gear. In an urban setting security would be more important than in the country. In an arid place water and heat/sun protection should be available. Northern, cold gear would be appropriate, and so on......

It also depends on the weather, and what I'm doing. If I'm able to conceal it and not doing a lot of stooping and walking, I carry a Glock model 21 .45 and a couple of extra magazines and a sheath knife. But that's easier for cooler weather, obviously, too.

Exactly. Each location and climate dictates what a person needs to carry. One added point; when I'm on my trap line I carry a Ruger Single Six .22 on my belt, for dispatching critters, and in my pack basket is a Winchester model 1894 Trapper in .357 mag. with 16" bbl, in case I need some camp meat.

Ordered a Buck Spitfire (USA Made) for my EDC

After handling my son new Buck, I fell in love with it, not overly fond of hollow ground knife's and not the best steel but Buck does bring the best out in 420 steel (420HC to be exact) It worked amazingly well for feathering the kindling and other small camp chores so for a nicely built extremely smooth blade opening/closing American made clip knife at $29 (Amazon) I say hell ya, I had too.

I recently found my old buck sheath knife! I hadn't seen it in a couple years. It's a great camping knife but is a little large to carry around daily. It's safely in my bob now. I bought it probably 30+ years ago. That sucker has been scuba diving and camping all over from key west to the smokey mtns. It was kind of like meeting up with an old friend.

I like Bucks and have a lot of them scattered around with a few of em with chipped blades. Most are the older 110, 112 and the smaller pocket knives though most of my sheath knives are the older Western brand knives 50/60s and 70s (before Coleman/Camillus purchased the brand)

I've been hung up on Benchmade knives for probably 15 years. Only have 8 or 10 around here....

To stay on topic, though, I chucked my edc bag (no, not the contents) and I've replaced it with a 5.11 Tactical Moab. I need to rearrange its contents as when I cleaned out the old bag I crammed it in the new one....
