Ok so I've lost a lot of weight. News to report I got my hands on a Nissan Juke. So we're gonna give it independent suspension and a casper style V shaped bottom, it won't be able to go as fast as my mini but the 280 nm will be able to carry a titanium alloy shell, enough to stop a fifty caliber.

I've been working nonstop on the porch here, two long grueling days now. I'm installing hardi fiber cement siding, and hope to be done with it tomorrow. All I'm sure of is I'm feeling every climb of the ladders! I hope to caulk, prime and paint the outside this weekend, and then I can take it easy and finish the interior at my leisure. As I said in a previous post, if you have projects that you want done, it will be a lot easier now than after an economic collapse. This was a project to help make the house more energy efficient if we loose or can't afford electricity down the road. It also makes the house look a lot better, which makes the wife happy. I'll post some more Picts this weekend.

Just set up a trade for tomorrow night. Im trading an older darton recurve bow that i got for 10 bucks for a remington 770 with scope, sling, case, 60rds of 30.06 and dipped in camo. Im gonna meet that guy tomorrow after work at the local PD. Im not getting too excited until the trade really is done but im pretty stoked right now.

I'm sticking with my high explosive siege arrows. Any suggestions on how to create fragment arrows? Oh and it's three weeks until the super plasma reactor is up and running. From twelve volts per second to sixty volts per second.

i'm currently working on making some arrow heads out of bone. I've got bodkins in stock, and some flint arrowheads(I don't live in a flint area) and I've got broadheads but I figure it would be good to be able to make my own arrowheads out of natural materials post SHTF.

Years ago I played around with making arrowheads out of obsidian, and got pretty good at it too. At the time I lived in an area with lots of obsidian around. Recently I've been giving it some thought about making a bow and start knapping arrowheads again.
Anyone have experience with making their own bow?

In za where I live we get rock pigeons huge pigeons with lots of tiny feathers and hadida's huge birds with weak feathers not exactly the best materials so the whistles are the best option if I ever run out of my 1500 arrows

If you guys and girls would like, I need to start replicating and modifiying an inside pants holster for a friend of mine tomorrow, he wants to attach his tactical torch to his handgun, so the holster needs to be resized so as to fit the torch as well. I`ll post a thread under tactical gear and equipment if you are interested, something like a step by step guide with pictures and instructions.

Well, I've had five days off from work. I wish I could say I went somewhere or did something really fun, but I've worked my butt off! I just finished day four, and today was twelve hours straight working on the porch, I finished framing the walls, got it wrapped with a moisture barrier, and finished installing the fiber cement siding today. ( not all today, but over the last four days). I also got it all caulked and primed for the paint tomorrow. This was one of those projects that I really wasn't ready to start, but the wife said it would make her happy. I just hope she's happy for a long while after this one! Next I will wire for electricity, then insulate and finish the walls inside. I'm not in as big a rush for that though. I need a little rest soon :).

Almost done with the exterior, if I survive anyways! Looks like it was always there. Still needs another coat of paint on the siding and the trim, but at least it's coming along.

What a beautiful home.
Thanks, I may actually finish it before I die! It's been a work in progress for ten years almost now.
I'm posting progress on this and my other preps to hopefully inspire others to start projects of their own. As I've said before, if our predictions of the comming financial storm are correct, then getting your projects completed now is important. After things get tough, it will be much harder to build and fix things with limited resources.

Went to the trap field today for the first time in months. I dropped down from a 45 average to a 40... time to get back in training before the winter league starts.

I got two of my friends on board and over the weekend I'm hooking up a spot light to radon and xenon lights and two lenses into the equivalent of a solar laser.
