I'm pretty sure I'd probably be committed if I posted pics of all the swords and knives I have.
It's a bit ridiculous.

I cleaned up my closet the other day, so it'd actually be easy to gather them all up (even though some are in different places around the house). It'd be a lot of pics, as some are displayed on the wall too.

Would be kind of fun though. Maybe I'll do that this weekend. :)

Here is my small collection.

Ontario US (Ka-Bar) Paid $60.00 at a Gun/Pawn shop

Buck 110T Paid $20.00 at a Pawn shop
DSCF0192.JPG

Gerber Machete Jr $18.00 at Wal-Mart. This has been a work horse. Currently resharpening the blade (edge hit the cement at the top)

Sorry for the "orange" pictures. The Gerber has really done well for me for an $18.00 blade. Has high carbon steel, but not enough to with stand cement HAHA. The Ka-Bar was dull when purchased due to someone putting it on a grinding wheel, but now it is CRAZY sharp. The buck knife is huge. Never seen one that big, was also dull when purchased, now almost razor sharp. I take that thing with me everywhere I go. I have finally rid of all my cheap China made 440 stainless knives. I am currently looking for a better machete, and also looking for a tomahawk. So anyways that is my small collection.

I cannot recommend a better machete for the price. This out chops most of my axes!

Roninsensei!
have you any experience of böker knives?? or rui knives?
just looking nice or might there be hidden gems with those??

Boker is hit and miss . I'm not always happy with their steel choices but, they're heat treat seems to hold up.

RUI is a big noooo. China made crap...

The jungle machete looks similar to the itak I once had though the itak was just a tab shorter being I think 20", CS jungle machete looks really appealing!

here's my 2 primary carries.the folding knife,i found on the side of a bridge while riding a bicycle quiet a fews ago..had to make the wooden handle part...in which i've been working on sharpening.the fixed blade was given to me.and it's now sharp enough to skin a deer..

I only really have two that I consider go-to. My Benchmade 551 which I keep razor sharp and is ALWAYS on my person (for everything from opening boxes and bags, defense, heck I used ONLY it to change out a blown radiator hose once). And my katana . . . . I trained 5+ years in Kendo and Iaido. At the upper levels it was required to have your own blade for tameshigiri, a "shinken" AKA "true blade". This one was made specifically for me. It is the exact length of my arm from shoulder to tip of fingers. The grip is the exact right thickness and length for my particular hands (I'm 6'1"). And it is curved and balanced for my own style.

Its my second most precious possession next to my vehicle, and lives next to my bed. But I'd still go for the shotgun or pistol before I pull it from its sheath, heh.

It really is rediculous how many knives and swords I have. My most effective is my nine ring dao it has a battery pack in the hilt delivering shocks for every slash. I also have a flamberge rapier.
