On the news some protester was saying " We were slaves, brought here against our will, bought and sold like animals." If I were there, my reply would be, "my great, great, great grandfather fought for your freedom in the Civil War, along with 2. 2 million other white Union soldiers. Honestly, I don't know that for a fact, any more than they know for a fact that their ancestors were slaves. But I do know that hundreds of thousands of Union soldiers died simply to do the right thing, not expecting to gain anything for themselves. They gave their life for you.

Actually the Civil war had little to do with "freeing" the black man. Hell, the North didn't want them either.

It seems an odd thing that so many newer people from around the world come to Britain and the US and then say how horrible it is. But they come for the FREE stuff with the intent to take over!
