Hi! New here. Was on another forum but there seemed to be a half and half style of prepping when it comes to what people are prepping for. On the other forum there were a lot of people that flat out were not prepping for long term collapse scenarios and so I thought it was pointless to continue on there.
From Maine for last 15 years. Hope to move to VA/WV to get away from long harsh winters of Maine soon / end of next year.
Prepping hard! If not buying hard at least training hard.
Going out to split next years wood...by hand.
Will say more on other posts.

howdy from a Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic

Welcome from a Texan in the group. Hunny just brought home a truck load of wood he and the guys were splitting on the other end of the property. Once we got it all stacked, we have about 1/2 the wood we will need for the winter. It doesn't stay cold for very long this far down south.

there aren't that many preppers that prep for long term events, so you have just joined a very select club. welcome from the other side of "the pond".
