No matter how many times i read these stories in Finland I still can't get used to the lack of punishment.

yeah,you really feel like our justice system sucks...

I would love to meet some of the victims and ask them and their families if they feel like the punishment was fair.

That's about what it is here back in the States we had what once was called frontier justice, in some cases we ought to bring it back without repercussions!

Trust me, anybody abuses any of my grand children, will face some very unpleasant "Frontier Justice" apache style. They better hope the courts give them life or a very long sentences that out lasts me.

There are the ant hills, or how much skin can you loose, one strip at a time? Roasted nuts, anyone? Lots of ways to teach molesters, none of them quick and all of them very instructional on why to NOT do these things. 100% fool proof, no repeat offenders, ever!!!

My Grandmother used to talk (verbal history) of the Comanche's during the Comanche war using the bark scorpion to inflict a great deal of pain on it's captives, a lot of what used against the Apache (my Grandmother is Southern Cheyenne)

The British used live scorpions inserted in the anus when dealing with the Mau Mau in Kenya. Listening to survivors stories it sounded like a most effective punishment. Although the Mau Mau were defending their homeland from the colonial invaders and I don't agree with what we did in Kenya.

All the tribes were good people but very short on mercy. A warrior died but once, the coward and the law breakers, died many deaths and it took a very long time. Not many rogues among the tribes.

I have my own ideas about how to handle child molesters.

1) Use a set of steel handcuffs with one shackel around the testicles, and the other shackel in a chain link fence.
2) Pile wood, coal, and old phone books at the offender's feet.
3) Set this on fire.
4) Hand him a knife. If we're feeling generous, we make sure it's a sharp knife.
5) He chooses to either burn to death or castrate himself.

the sentencing should be more then that in every country.like 5 year sentence in prison.and everything the criminal owned gets sold.and that money goes to the victim(s)..and maybe fines in which the guilty person sits it out in prison.to pay it off.but yet.that's only if the that person lives through the prison sentence.

Even though I'm intensely liberal, I can't disagree with you.

I was a paramedic for almost 12 years, and I really, really, really don't like rapists and child molestors.

I've been following this shit here for a long time and hadn't there been this guy J. Lokka,nothing,nada, zero would have been on the news,
our LEO's and justice sytem would have dealt this shit in silence.

2.5 years this time and probably out in 15 months if he behaves himself.

If it was my child or grandchild (in my case) I would be waiting down the road for when they got out. They would not live a happy ever after life.

I'm all for taking matters into my own hands. I don't care one bit what the court/police would do.

It is wrong for anybody to torture anybody.
