Hell of a Soldier! Hell of a shooter!

Family of my girlfriend who live in the UK have travelled to Finland for their holiday. The advice was to stay isolated for 2 weeks inside Finland, only going out for essentials. Needless to say they have gone to the zoo for a day trip. These are the same people who have complained about people not wearing masks and the government not getting strict enough. I have no doubt that covid will be spreading here again soon if this is the attitude of people.

we as a species are so f@@ked up,if we don't start learning from the past, our "history memory" seems to be shortened to a month at the best...

People want everyone else to follow the rules but not themselves. I remember seeing a British news story where a family was complaining that people weren't social distancing on the busy beach while they simultaneously sat on the crowded beach.

The first 30 seconds had me in stitches when they said the benefits system wasn't working. In Finland that would cause a total collapse of the nation.

A sniper is a cowardly person who is hiding. Therefore, snipers are not taken prisoner, but destroyed.

Soviet-Finnish border 1987.

My preferred method of Warfare . A Sniper is a force multiplier and the eyes and ears on the Battlefield . Nothing cowardly about being on the frontlines without backup or reserve . Quite the opposite .
Thats My main long range rifle . I have others for different applications .

I was a young man back then,young and foolish,didn't think further than my nose, a smart kid would have taken a job in the army and gotten out after 25 yrs with full pension, I knew nothing then, prolly know nothing now,but it is what it is..

The sniper is a coward. Snipers are not judged, but simply shot.

on this I have a differnt opinion, I regard a sniper as valuable asset, an important tool in todays military, living in a small country,with a relatively small army,we have to have all available options,if the need comes...pray to God that, that day never comes.
