I really wish I knew enough about Estonia to ask an intelligent question, but sadly I don't. My knowledge is pretty much limited to the fact that you are south of Finland. But I would like to know more about your country.

Working on my bug out bag, and constructing my apartment basement for food and water storage. I also spend a lot of time for watching videos what other preppers have done.
Do you have a bug out location?
Doesn't Estonia have a lot of sparsely populated countryside? I see the population density is roughly the same as the State of Mississippi, where I am from, and where my bug out location is located.
Seems there should be some ideal places to hole up.

I did lil bit of a search of were you live.and this is what i came up with.
The Estonian climate is temperate and mild, characterised by warm summers and fairly severe winters. The weather is often breezy and humid due to the proximity of the Baltic Sea. Seasons in Estonia vary widely.

Do any of them have rock/stone structures? Are there any ponds or lakes well within walking distance? Are they out and away from other people? Are there any streams,creeks,rivers,that water flowing through them year round,? Will you be avle to stay warm during the winter? Is there plenty of wild life and vegetation for food? .

Hunter's paradise from what I hear.
I have a lake next to my apartment building, like 10-15 steps, also few rivers varying in size, usually they will freeze eventually. Lot's of forest area but no rocky areas. We do have a wild life usually when I go walking with my dog i can see some deer.
Oh and when the rivers or lakes are frozen there is snow also, not too worried about water source.

How hard would it be for you to start hunting? In other words, to get a hunting license, find a place to hunt, and get a permit for a hunting rifle and shotgun? To me that is a critical step in learning self sufficiency.
