This news is encouraging, but don't get me wrong, I do not trust the little turd any farther than I can throw him. But he is now talking to South Korea, something the Kims never did before.

NORTH and South Korea have agreed to the complete denuclearisation of the peninsula.

At their first summit in more than a decade, the two sides announced they would seek an agreement to establish "permanent" and "solid" peace on the peninsula.

I think Kim is finally realizing that isolationist behavior isn’t helping him or his country. Trump is quick to take credit for things, but the sanctions that were enacted by other administrations factored heavily in this I’d wager. I do agree that I don’t trust the little turd, but hope this is going to turn out to be a new start to end the threats and the debilitating sanctions that really only hurt the average person over there.

Socialist Marxist doctrine dictates that " If you cannot attack your opponants reason or logic then attack his character" Its the default setting for Democrats, Labours, Socialists, Marxists etc so it no surprise right wingers respond in kind.

I would call it posturing and it is something Kim Jong is not used to. I hope it rattled the dictator.

True, in other words you can't reason with crazy. Kim is top notch crazy.

Anything that may potentially benefit the people of North Korea goes straight to Kim. The people do not gain anything, except the elites. I really feel that sanctions only affects Kim, not the poor people in work camps or in his dictatorship and under the B's thumb. Kim is beginning to realize that if he can make the people more productive he can gain from it. Not for the people's sake but for his own. That is why he is involving his wife in appearances, meeting with the South Koreans, signing peace treaty, he has his own agendas for his own purposes and profit. The problem for Kim is how to maintain his control and accept western ideas at the same time. When more of NK population wakes from their mind control, gain some courage and confidence, and come to the realization of what Kim has actually done to them there will be changes. Kim does not want that. He wants to remain the god of Korea, the supreme leader. He will go to hell in the end if he doesn't change his ways and I don't think he will change. I hope Trump kicks ###.
