IR summary: there is a redeployment of heavy armament through the CP "Uspenka" to the DNR from Russia
10.02.2018 - 15:15

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The Russian occupation forces in the Donbas continue to actively regroup their forces and assets, including the redeployment of heavy armament.

Thus, 6 units of the MLRS -21 Grad of the occupants were redeployed (also in the column – 3 trucks Ural and 1 BTR-70/80) from the western outskirts of Alchevsk towards the direction of Debaltsevo (in the region of Zorinsk). Such redeployment attracts special attention, because the Debaltsevo district is in the zone of responsibility of the "7th separate mechanized brigade of the 1st Army Corps DNR", but the MLRS -21 Grad are from the "2nd Army Corps LNR".

The recent recording by the OSCE observers of the division of the anti-aircraft missile systems "Strela-10" of the occupants north of Makeyevka (7 of the 11 missile systems were fixed by UAV of the OSCE) caused serious resonance at the headquarters of the "1st Army Corps DNR". The Russian advisers at the Corps HQ indicate that the recognition of the unit was due to a flagrant violation of the orders of the command of the "1st Army Corps DNR" of recent times about the concealment and secretive redeployment of heavy weapons near the line of delimitation, and they demand strict punishment of the guilty. An "official investigation" is being conducted.

Special attention is paid to the redeployment of heavy armament from the territory of the Russian Federation through the Amvrosievka district (checkpoint "Uspenka"). In particular, the network of the IR group recorded redeployment of:

1. 4 units of the 122 mm MLRS BM-21 "Grad" (it was recorded north of Amvrosievka in the Blagodatnoe area);

2. 3 tanks of the T-72B type - through Novoamvrosievka;

3. 4 tanks of T-64 type and 4 BMP-2 in the western direction of the Grigorovka.

The redeployment of arms and equipment from the Russian Federation in small batches is conducted under the guise of "drills at the Ternovoe training ground". In case it will be found, this armament will be identified as arriving at "drills" from the occupation forces in the Donbas.

The units of the "2nd Army Corps LNR" continue to equip the battalion defense area in the area of Pervomayka. The work of the grader (south of Borshchevatoe) is noted, the equipment of the caponiers in the second echelon was also recorded with the help of a civilian excavator, and the intensive movement of motor vehicles from Irmino to Kalinovo was fixed (no less than a dozen tilted army trucks passed).

Large-scale drills of the occupation troops ("1st Army Corps DNR") with the involvement of "reservists" are conducted at the training ground near Markino, the Novoazovsk region. Earlier, "reservists" from the civilian population of the district under 40 years old received draft notices with the requirement to take part in "drills" under the threat of "administrative or criminal punishment" in case of non-arrival. According to draft notices, "drills" will be held for 2 weeks, for participation in them "reservists" promised a reward of 3 500 rubles.

A batch of 82 mm mortars in the quantity of 8 units was received in order to complete the mortar battery of one of the battalions "9th separate assault mechanized regiment of naval infantry" (Novoazovsk district). Also, 3 ZU-23-2 AD systems arrived in the other battalion of this regiment as "a qualitative increase in the firepower of the unit". All armament was transferred specifically for these units from the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the report of the "Ministry of Justice of the DNR", "unified registration centers of the DNR" issued 21 thousand "technical passports" for real estate to local residents. 19 thousand of these issued in the period from November to December 2017, another 2 thousand were issued this year. At the same time, in a number of cases, when issuing "DNP technical documents", appropriate Ukrainian documents are seized. In the course of this "substitution", DNR officials do not inform the residents that the documents issued by the authorities of the occupation administration are carry no legal weight and will not be recognized upon the return of the territory of the LDNR to the control of the Ukrainian authorities.

According to representatives of the self-proclaimed "Republic of Abkhazia", which were in Lugansk on January 29 this year, commercial companies of Abkhazia and Turkey signed agreements on the supply of coal mined in the territory of the "LNR" to Turkey through the port of Ochamchira (Abkhazia).

UPDATE. Previously, the IR group reported that during the formation of the so-called "Priazov Cossack Army of the DNR", the head of the local "Cossack" formation in Torez was appointed Ossetian. In fact, this situation took place in Khartsyzk, where the ataman of the so-called "Khartsyzk Cossack regiment named after George the Victorious of the Priazov Cossack Army of the DNR" Ibrahim Baghiyev (call sign "Terek", title -"captain") became from North Ossetia (RF). At the moment, the personnel of the Khartsyzk Cossack Regiment are about 60 militants.

IR summary: the work of the newest Russian EW complex "Leer-3" is recorded at the Lugansk direction
21.02.2018 - 12:45

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The formations of Russian occupation forces in the Donbas continue armed provocations against the AFU and shelling of the positions of Ukrainian troops, including the use of heavy weapons, which, according to the Minsk agreements, should be withdrawn to established distances from the demarcation line. Over the last week period, units of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces carried out more than 90 artillery raids (previous week period up to 70) from 122 mm artillery systems, 82/120 mm mortars, 122 mm portable rocket launchers "Grad-P”, BMPs and tanks.

The most intense fire strikes were inflicted by the enemy on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the populated areas Popasnaya, Novozvanovka, Troitskoe, Lugansk, Avdeevka, Butovka mine, Peski, Krymskoe, Svetlodarsk, Lozovoye, Novolugansk, Zaitsevo, Novotroitskoe, Taramchuk, Chermalyk, Pavlopol, Vodyanoe and Shirokino.

The enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance of the combat formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 21 reconnaissance flights of UAVs are recorded during the period from 13 to 19 February this year, including 3 flights of the UAV Orlan-10, which entered into the operational-tactical depth of the defense of AFU. At the same time, the enemy has focused the attention on the opening of the objects, as well as the identification of changes in the combat orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The activation of the EW maneuvering groups of the enemy is marked along the contact line. In the zone of responsibility of "2nd Army Corps LNR", the work of the newest Russian electronic warfare complex "Leer-3" (RB-341B) is fixed, which designed to suppress signals from GSM transmitters (the first time, this complex was shown at the exhibition "Innovation Day of Southern Military District" at the beginning of October 2015). At the same time, SMS-messages of provocative nature were sent to the mobile phones of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Within the winter training period, the enemy conducted combat training activities at the Centralniy and Primorsky training grounds aimed at coordinating the units during offensive operations, and also working out questions of organizing interaction during actions with the reconnaissance and artillery units with the use of UAVs.

In the last week period, confirmed losses of Russian occupation forces in the Donbass amounted to 11 people:

1st Army Corps – 9th separate assault mechanized regiment of naval infantry (Novoazovsk) - 2 servicemen, 3rd separate mechanized brigade (Gorlovka) - 1 serviceman, 5th separate mechanized brigade (Makeyevka) - 1 serviceman, 11thseparate mechanized regiment (Makeyevka) - 1 serviceman, 100th separate mechanized brigade (Donetsk) – 1 serviceman;

2nd Army Corps – 7th separate mechanized brigade (Bryanka) - 5 servicemen.

About 800 tons of petroleum products were delivered from the territory of Russia (railway station Rovenky) to ensure the activities of units and formations 1st and 2ndArmy Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces in the period from 13 to 19 February this year. In addition, preparatory work is being carried out on the bases of storage of automobile and special equipment of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with aim to transfer new batches of military equipment to units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of Russian occupation troops in the Donbas.

During the past day, the use of 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars of the type 2B11 from the mortar complex 2S12 "Sani" by the occupiers in the Donbass was recorded. It also recorded the use of the ZU-23-2AD systems and 82-mm mortars type 2B14 "Podnos". At the same time, the invaders are redeploying additional forces and means to the demarcation line for further shelling.

Thus, a new mobile fire group of the enemy was fixed in the vicinity of Donetsky near Istomin Street. The group consists of 1 BTR and 2 trucks Ural, in one of it - a 120-mm mortar.

During the last 3 days, redeployment of armored vehicles of invaders and various fire weapons (mainly ZU-23-2 AD systems and automatic 82-mm mortars of type 2B9 "Vasilok") was observed east of Lugansk. An armored group of 4 BMPs (3 BMP-2 and 1 BMP-1), 3 trucks Ural were fixed between Lobachevo and Mykolaivka, 2 MT-LB and 1 BRDM-2 in the area between Burchak-Mikhailovskoe and Pionerskoe. The equipment of new platoon stronghold points by the enemy is being observed in the area of Lobachevo.

The command of the Stakhanov grouping of the occupation forces augments the combat formations in its area of responsibility. Thus, in forest plantations between Marevka and Berezovskoe along the bank of the Kamyshevakha, equipment of new positions by the occupiers is marked, on some of it 82-mm mortars have been identified (armored vehicles have not yet been observed).

The Command of "1st Army Corps DNR" and "2nd Army Corps LNR" decided to complete a number of artillery units of motorized rifle brigades and regiments by the towed 152-mm cannon type D-20. At the moment, for these purposes, both Corps got 18 guns for the 1st Army Corps and 11 guns for the 2nd Army Corps from Russia (according to some information, some of it are modernized Russian guns of the D-20M "Chitin" type with an automatic dispatcher increasing the rate of fire ). However, at the same time, the Russian command is planning that the completion will begin after the deployment of the appropriate number of vehicles and the formation of artillery squads, with which there are serious problems in both Corps at present time.

The command of both Corps of the occupation troops returns mobile Command and Control points of brigade-battalion level from the training grounds to the temporary bases. Two days ago, column of 2 staff and control vehicles, 1 R-149BMR and 2 trucks Urals was fixed from on route N-21 towards Donetsk. Several staff and control vehicles were recorded on the ring road in the vicinity of Lugansk.

The occupation authorities in Kadievka, Alchevsk and Perevalsk actively involve students of higher educational institutions through "military commissariats" for 2-week "training”. Appeals from the teaching staff with requests not to violate the educational process by the occupation authorities are ignored.

The recent shelling of the STRC building in Lugansk by the handle grenade launcher caused serious resonance both among the "special services" of the "LNR" and among the local population. In Lugansk and its environs, the invaders are actively conducting search activities for "Ukrainian saboteurs", with the blocking of roads by mobile checkpoints and the inspection of vehicles. There are panic rumors actively spread among the local residents, that "many Ukrainian special operation teams with grenade launchers are arrived to Lugansk", "Ukrainian saboteurs are mining the stops of public transport", "saboteurs killed the driver and hijacked the bus," etc.

"The Ministry of Communications of the LNR" began to collect information on the available resources of Ukrainian mobile operators, which are not currently operational in the "LNR" (availability of base stations, the number of subscribers who used the services of operators). The information is collected in order to determine the prospects for the possible resumption of its functioning from the "summer period".

IR summary: losses of Russian PMCs in Syria will be "compensated" by 2 battalions from "DNR and LNR"
23.02.2018 - 15:25

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

In the zone of combat activities in the Donbass, there is a steady trend of increasing the number and intensity of shelling by the Russian occupation forces. So, if the number of shelling ranged from 5-7 per day2-3 weeks ago, then recently - 18-20 per day.

At the same time, the enemy has become much to use heavy weapons (mostly 120 mm mortars). So, over the last day, the invaders used 120-mm mortars from the firing positions in the area of Nizhnye Lozovoye and the height of 223.0 during the firing of the advanced positions of the AFU in the area of the crossroads to Skeleevoe and Svetlodarsk, south of Luganskoe; in the area of Dokuchaevsk from positions behind the Central Quarry (on rock dumps) on the advanced positions of the AFU south-east of Novotroitskoye; during the firing of the advanced positions of the AFU in the area of Crimskoe, from the disguised position in the area of the village of Frunze (northeast, in the beams), the invaders tried to shell a position of the AFU in the vicinity of the height of 175.9 by a pair of 120 mm mortars through "Bakhmut route".

Also, the occupants continue to strengthen their positions in a number of sectors. Thus, from the fears of the active actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the so-called "Donetsk foothold" (in the area of Yelenovka-Styla, primarily opposite the Dokuchaevsk "knot" of the occupation forces' defense), occupants equip a new company stronghold point with caponiers for equipment and stationary shelters for personnel by civil engineering equipment (excavator and auto crane) in the southwestern outskirts of Yelenovka.

The command of "2nd Army Corps LNR" intensively strengthens positions to the west and northeast of the settlement of Pervomaisk. New stronghold points are being equipped; arms and military equipment are being actively redeployed. Toward the settlement of Berezovskoe, the appearance of new positions of 82-mm mortars and at least a dozen combat armored vehicles (mainly BMP-1) is noted. Simultaneously, in neighboring Irmino and Kadievka there are rumors among the local population that "Pervomaisk will be evacuated soon" in view of the allegedly large-scale offensive of the AFU.

On the sites near the front line along the Severskii Donets River in the Stanichno-Luhansk District (the area of Nikolaevka and Pionerskoe is under the control of the "LNR"), several groups of Russian special forces are fixed. They actively conduct reconnaissance in the direction of Bolotennoye - railway station Ilyenko, and the mining of the terrain is noted. They do not contact the local population. Local residents note that they buy only food products (without alcohol, which is typical for local militants).

North of Donetsk, between Betmanovo and Yasinovatoya, the invaders are redeploying armored vehicles to the north towards Panteleimonovka and further towards Ozeryanovka and Gorlovka (up to 20 units of various equipment, mostly BMP-1 / 2 and MT-LB, several BTRs, as well as several trucks Urals were fixed during last three days). Obviously, a new transshipment point was created to the north of the Yasinovataya for enemy equipment, which being transferred to the "Gorlovka corner" for the 3rd separate mechanized brigade (in addition to the previously created Yenakiyevo "corridor"). It is also possible to form together the strike group of the invaders to Verkhnetoretskoye (this direction has long been in the zone of special attention at the command of the invaders).

At the same time, in accordance with the order of the headquarters of the 8thCombined-Armed Army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the command of the occupation forces began to accumulate the emergency reserve of material and technical means at the brigade level (primarily for fuel and food) in the 1st and 2nd Army Corps. The Russian advisers at the headquarters of both "Army Corps" note the high level of plundering resources coming from the RF for these purposes by personnel and the brigade command. Also, supplies of "substandard" foodstuffs from the territory of Russia are recorded (an example is given of the culling of a consignment of food with expired shelf life that was received for the needs of the "1st AK" from the warehouses of the Southern Military District of the RF Armed Forces).

The brigades of the "1st Army Corps DNR" continue to note an acute shortage of personnel. Thus, the shortage is 50-60 men (with an average number of battalions of 320-350 men) in the battalions of the 3rd and the 100th Brigades. And the current pace of completing the "units and subunits" does not cover the rate of dismissal and desertion on the part of "servicemen". The personnel department of Army Corps ascertained that if the situation is not fundamentally changed in the near future, they will have to again "take special measures" (referring to the request for a transfer of the enlisted personnel of the RF Armed Forces from the Russian Federation for the staffing). Otherwise, these units will be completely unfit for action.

The command of "1st Army Corps DNR" and "2nd Army Corps LNR" got an order on the urgent formation of 2 battalions (500 people each) for participation in the armed conflict in Syria. Battalions are ordered to be completed exclusively from among local militants, not including Russian mercenaries in it. The information is spread among the commanders of the militants that this order is caused by the large losses of Russian PMCs in Syria in recent times. Also, the command of both "Army Corps" expresses critical remarks to this order, pointing to the problem of the chronic understaff of the units of "1st Army Corps DNR" and "2nd Army Corps LNR".

"The chairmen of the committees of the People's Council of the LNR" got mobile phones with SIM cards of the local operator "Lugakom", with a warning that it is strictly prohibited to use other mobile SIM cards. At the same time, the information is spread among the "officials" themselves that all these mobile numbers are "tapped into" in the "MGB of the NDR".

The Education Department of the Russian occupation administration of Yenakiyevo ordered the school directors to force parents of pupils to vaccinate children against measles. However, at the same time, a lack of the necessary amount of measles vaccine was found in the city's medical facilities (for example, in the "Children's City Hospital"). Given this situation, representatives of medical institutions in the Yenakiyevo indicate in the reports that the parents of children allegedly refuse to vaccinate.

On the territory controlled by the "DNR", rumors spread among the local population about the imminent closure of the "border with Ukraine" and the complete conservation of the demarcation line. These rumors are also spreading and actively discussed among "middle-level" officials of the "DNR", causing a negative response.

International human rights defenders are not ready to work with hybrid threats, - IR coordinator
24.02.2018 - 12:45

The authoritative international organization Amnesty International published its annual report "Human Rights in the World 2017/2018", which contains an article about the situation in Ukraine.

This is an important document deserving a detailed study, because AI conclusions are used in the compilation of a number of international ratings.

Unfortunately, comments by politicians and media reports showed that few people read the full report. Maximum, they studied the part dedicated to Ukraine, and quickly made the news. In this connection, I’ve got few remarks.

First. Those who want to understand the situation, I advise to spend time and read if not the full report (there are 300 pages in it), then at least an analysis of macro regions and sections about important countries for Ukraine. Otherwise, you will have a distorted view.

For example, if you read only an article about Russia, you will not find any mention that there is a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, even no hints. You do not learn that Russia occupied the Crimea and the Donbas. You will not find references to the fact that Russia kidnaps and illegally detains Ukrainian citizens, including journalists. Also, you do not learn that Russia is at war in Syria, keeps regular forces there, delivers weapons and mercenaries, bombs civilian objects. The only mention of Syria is in the context of Russia's abuse of the veto power in the UN Security Council.

In the section about Belarus there are no references to the participation of Belarusian special services in the kidnapping of Ukrainian student Pavel Grib, who was seized and illegally taken to Russia. There is no mention about the detention of other Ukrainian citizens. There is not a single word about the detention of the Ukrainian journalist Pavel Sharoiko on the fabricated case. But some similar facts are mentioned (for example, deportation a blogger to Azerbaijan).

Transnistria is not mentioned in the article about Moldova at all. For the reader it does not exist, so there are no violations of human rights.

Nagorno-Karabakh (it is called a "breakaway region") is mentioned with two sentences in an article about Azerbaijan. There is not a word in the article about Armenia about it.

Similarly, in the article about Georgia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia are named "breakaway regions" also. Why they "split away" is unclear. Only some Russian "forces" are mentioned, which help establish the actual border between these regions and the rest of Georgia.

Thus, the authors of the report follow a certain pattern that does not reflect a number of important factors affecting the situation with human rights. AI tries not to give political assessments and "does not see" simmering conflicts. But how can you explain the situation in the same South Ossetia without giving an assessment of Russia's actions? In this situation, guilt for violating rights is automatically placed on the country-occupier and the country-victim of aggression.

Second. Amnesty International admits the principle that any restriction of human rights, any deterioration of living conditions is evil, whatever is caused by these limitations and in what context they occur. The position of such a "Cerberus" is very important, because it reduces the risk of abuse by the authorities. But in some cases it looks clearly inadequate.

For example, regarding Europe, AI identifies three systemic problems that are a red thread in articles about different countries. This is the problem of migrants, the problem of tightening anti-terrorism legislation and measures to reduce government spending ("austerity measures").

Thus, according to AI, reducing government spending, the UK government worsens the access of citizens (especially the poorest people and migrants) to medicine, education, legal aid, etc., which violates their rights.

The depreciation of the national currency is mentioned in the article about Georgia among the threats to the rights of citizens, which worsens economic conditions.

Attitudes towards migrants are a major complaint to most countries in Western and Central Europe. Hungary and Poland are the most severely criticized. Even Slovenia, which does not want to accept migrants, has even criticized. The claim to Italy says that Rome cooperates with the authorities of Libya in order to intercept illegal migrants.

AI criticizes France, that illegal migrants in Calais are inspected, focusing on ethnic signs. They do it legal. Personally, I do not understand: if it is known that these illegal migrants are from Africa, how can they be isolated for inspection, without being guided by ethnic signs? By the timbre of voice? According to the knowledge of classical French poetry?

What seems most relevant for Ukraine - AI has not yet developed adequate mechanisms for assessing risks caused by hybrid threats and terrorism. We are talking about the sluggishness of the bureaucracy of the state sector in different (including Western) countries - but in this case, this is practically the same thing.

Thus, AI criticizes national governments and the EU for passing laws aimed at protection from new challenges. Anti-terrorist laws AI for some reason always calls hasty, disproportionate and discriminatory.

According to AI, the main complaint is the insufficient personalization of repressive measures, the risk of restricting the rights of broad groups of citizens. In this case, there is some sound grain, but critics do not offer any way out. Therefore, even the clarification of prohibitions and restrictions automatically will be considered as an "encroachment on human rights".

If we analyze the measures taken by other states to protect national security, Ukraine looks extremely soft and quite tolerant.

For example, in Great Britain it is proposed to establish criminal responsibility (up to 15 years in prison) for repeatedly seeing in the Internet materials “connected with terrorism". Previously, such a measure was in France, but it was declared unconstitutional.

I would like to especially note the situation with Israel. The critics of the Ukrainian authorities present this country as an example of "how to protect national security". But if you look at Israel through the eyes of human rights defenders from AI, the picture is very unsightly.

Thus, claims of occupation, claims of illegal blockade of Gaza, hundreds of dead, thousands of detainees, seizure of property, harassment of dissidents, suspicion of extrajudicial executions, etc. - are all consequences of measures that help make Israel relatively safe. But it causes hysteria in the international community.

If you read an article about Palestine after the article about Israel, the Hamas fighters will look like innocent children. According to the conclusions of the AI, Israel kills the undesired, and Hamas and Fatah are mostly only engaged in "office work" - they shut down opposition web sites and cut salaries in the budget sector. Hezbollah in Lebanon generally looks like a charity, fighting with aggressive Syrian groups.

Thus, it is necessary to remember the specifics of the information provided by human rights defenders. If you quote it without context, you can take off yourself away from reality.

Third. As for Ukraine.

Whoever said anything, in my opinion, many conclusions of AI should be regarded as a very positive signal and evidence of progress. Thus, AI human rights defenders write about the implementation of a set of reforms, local successes, and the visa-free travel.

Of course, there are well-founded claims in report. But the mass of things is taken out of context and far-fetched.

For example, the report deals with human rights in 2017/18, but data for estimates is used from 2015-2016. The story about the "secret prisons of the Security Service of Ukraine", which was imagined by international observers, is made a big deal again.

Let's recall: in 2016, the SBU showed unprecedented openness in the process of investigating this story. However, the observers still had "feels" (I emphasize - not the facts, but the feels), which they describe in such categories as if the Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib prisons were built in the center of Kharkov.

I remind that in the context of this investigation, ringleaders of the Russian occupation administrations in the Donbass (LDPR) simply sent human rights defenders to a well-known address. And Ukraine as much as possible went to the meeting, but ... it was still to blame.

The history with the deportation of Russian propagandists and their European collaborators is absolutely inadequate. Our intelligence services, in comparison with European, operate extremely tactfully. Attacks on them on these specific cases - is an obvious overreach.

Also, human rights defenders from AI were overly concerned about the fate of propagandists from the Vesti holding company and the site of "Strana.ua". These resources are openly subversive in the interests of the aggressor country. But AI distances itself from such assessments, and acts solely in the context of protecting freedom of speech, where any propagandist automatically becomes a "prisoner of conscience".

In what it is necessary to pay tribute to AI is that in report they quite clearly indicated the occupation of Crimea by Russia. The role of the Kremlin in the occupation of the Donbass is not so clearly shown, but some facts of human rights violations in the occupied territory are still mentioned.

But the situation with human rights in the first and second cases is still connected to Ukraine. It is clear that this is the approach of human rights defenders - the responsibility for the situation, even in the occupied territories, to incriminate on the country to which this territory belongs. But, we agree, then it would be fair to prescribe this responsibility at least in the section of the aggressor country, that AI does not want to do. In this connection, the uncomfortable questions appear about objectivity.

In general, the conclusions are as follows.

International human rights defenders are not yet ready to work with hybrid threats. Even the reading of the AI report does not give an adequate idea of Russia's role in unleashing international conflicts. AI filters are tuned in such a way that they do not catch even well-known facts. It ignores the cause-and effect relationship. As a result, the sources of problems are not exposed, but its apparent consequences and those who are struggling with these consequences.

As for Ukraine, the domestic media and politicians should pay more attention to comparative analysis. Our country is a victim of aggression. And even in these conditions, in the presence of all obvious problems, it does not slip into tyranny or anarchy. Although many people, in the Kremlin and individual forces within the country, would like this very much.

Do not help them.

Putin badly needs a new "cannon fodder" for massacre in Ukraine and Syria, - IR coordinator
26.02.2018 - 13:50

The study of the Russian labor market in the field of "Protection and Security" in recent weeks reveals one interesting detail. Namely: the recruitment activity of Russian PMCs sharply increased in February.

With a detailed study of the relevant vacancies on such web sites as avito.ru, 63rabota.ru, rabota-smolensk.ru and others (see screenshots), we see that massive recruitment is going in all regions of the Russian Federation - while these vacancies are veiled under the vacancy of "security guard objects", working "shift" method with the term of "business trips" 3 months.

It would seem that what is connection between the vacancy of the "object guard" and PMCs? If you carefully examine these ads, you can see a few unique features that leave no doubt.

Firstly, the payment from 80,000 rubles that even in Moscow the average salary of the guard is from 45,000 to 60,000 rubles.

The second is the requirements for the candidate. Here's a good example:

"Requirements: good fitness condition. The existence of a license for weapons is not necessary.

All military registration specialties are considered. "

(A license for weapons is not needed - it is only required when you working on the territory of the Russian Federation, but it is simply necessary to have a military specialty and experience in military service).

"The region of residence does not matter".

(Indeed, what difference does it make from where the “cannon fodder” will go to the Donbass or to Syria - from St. Petersburg or Chita?).

"Responsibilities: armed protection and security of facilities in different regions."

"Conditions: all employees are provided with accommodation, work clothes, uniform, and food".

"The term of business trips is 3 months.

Experience in trouble spots will be a plus. "

"Work is in a large Russian company with a friendly team."

(About the "friendly team" - it's true: mercenaries do not fight for coffins).

“For detailed information about the vacancy, call from 9:00 to 20:00 Moscow time on weekdays."

Here it should be noted that one of the main requirements for guards on the territory of Russia is the availability of existing documents for conducting security activities. But, it is not required in these ads.

So, the good fitness condition, the duration of business trips is 3 months, experience in trouble spots and "all military registration specialties are considered" - all this already speaks about the relevant specifics of the activities of this hiring organization.

Another important detail of this announcement is that the name of the organization is indicated as "Veterans of armed conflicts", while the contact person is a certain Alexei and the phone number. The lack of a full-fledged address of the company is explained by the fact that even in today's Russia a criminal article (Article 359 of the Criminal Code) "Mercenary" has not yet been canceled and punishment for this kind of activity threatens from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Also, it shows the geography of the placement of this announcement, which is given in 24 regions of Russia, mainly in areas with high unemployment and located military units of the Airborne and Special Forces in them.

And, most importantly, this announcement is dated February 20, 2018. It can be safely concluded that the "rumors" about the large losses in the ranks of the Wagner PMC are turning into facts. And the acute shortage of "cannon fodder" after the recent events in Syria makes urgently recruit the next batch of them. Also, numerous losses among the Wagner fighters are forcing the occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions to form two "Syrian" battalions from among the local residents in a hurry, with the already incomplete of "1st Army Corps DNR" and "2nd Army Corps LNR" units (the IR group reported this in a recent report).

It shows that Putin urgently needs "cannon fodder" for Syria and the Donbas, and that the Kremlin clique is in no way ready to abandon its "peacekeeping intentions", both in Syria and on the territory of Ukraine, and the recruitment of fresh "cannon fodder" is in full swing.

So, "dear Russians", if you are ready to die for the private interests of Putin and Co and be buried in an anonymous pit in Syria or Ukraine, then welcome to "work for a large Russian company with a friendly team."

The number of shelling and armed provocations by the Russian occupation forces has decreased in the past few days in the Donbas (up to 5-8 shelling per day), but there is practically no fixed "harassing" fire. All attacks by the enemy are made in a targeted manner, according to previously known targets. Also, there is activity of the enemy in terms of regrouping and changing the operational structure of the occupation groups.

The armed provocations of the occupants are continuing in certain areas. In particular:

- North and north-west of Debaltsevo, the action of the raid infantry groups of militants in the neutral zone was marked with the support of mortar fire (82 mm mortars), anti-aircraft guns and heavy machine guns from the positions in the area of height 223.0, the villages of Logvinovo and Nizhnye Lozovoye. In addition, the enemy uses 120 mm mortars firing to the positions of the AFU south of Svetlodarsk;

- Incidental use of 120-mm mortars at the advanced positions of AFU in the area of Peski, Vodyanoe and south of Opytnoe is noted from the positions in the area of the village of Veseloe (DAP district). The mobile fire group of the invaders is acting in this area;

- The enemy conducts "duty" fire raids, including 120-mm mortars, along the advanced positions of the AFU east of Troitskoe and north-east of Novozvanovka (Novoaleksandrovka district).

The enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance of the military formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 25 reconnaissance flights of the UAVs of the RF Armed Forces are recorded in the period from 21 to 27 February this year, including 9 flights of the UAV Orlan-10, which entered into the operational-tactical depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense. At the same time, the enemy focused on the opening of the control system, as well as the identification of changes in the combat order of the AFU. The active activity of maneuverable EI groups (electronic intelligence) and EW (electronic warfare) of the enemy along the entire contact line continues to be noted.

The next unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (in the documents it is listed as a "group of Russian experts") of aerial reconnaissance with using UAV arrived under control of the command of the "1st Army Corps DNR". The unit operates in the area of Donetsk and Gorlovka. Moving and placement is carried out with careful application of camouflage measures. Protection is provided by the unit of the GRU Special forces.

Within the winter training period, the occupants conduct combat training at the Primorsky training ground aimed at training the issues of conducting urban military operations, organizing checkpoints, as well as working out cooperation with the UAV reconnaissance units during actions.

In the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the occupation command of the Russian troops completed the actions aimed at working out the issues of civil defense on the topic: "The actions of the management detachments and the functioning of the territorial subsystems of the unified emergency prevention and response system". Moreover, the occupation command spent more 45 million rubles to carry out these actions in the territory of the "LNR" (the financing was carried out purposefully from the federal budget of the Russian Federation).

The integrated commission of the control agencies of the RF Armed Forces continues to function in units and subunits of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces, which carries out a purposeful check of the state of financial discipline, the organization of the services of logistics and armament, mobilization readiness, and compliance with the security control.

Confirmed losses of Russian occupation forces in the Donbass amounted to 17 people in the period from 20 to 26 February this year:

1st Army Corps – 9th separate assault mechanized regiment of naval infantry (Novoazovsk) - 7 servicemen, 5th separate mechanized brigade (Makeyevka) - 3 servicemen, 11th separate mechanized regiment (Makeyevka) - 1 serviceman;

2nd Army Corps – 6th separate mechanized regiment (Kadievka) - 1 serviceman, 2nd separate mechanized brigade (Lugansk) - 3 servicemen, 4th separate mechanized brigade (Alchevsk) - 1 serviceman, 7th separate mechanized brigade (Bryanka) - 1 serviceman.

The occupation command fears the active actions of the AFU in the area of the Slavyanoserbsk. In the vicinity of the Smelyoe, Dolgoe and the southern part of the Slavyanoserbsk, there is a significant increase in the strength of the troops and armored vehicles of the invaders (in the southern part of Slavyanoserbsk, there are a dozen combat armored vehicles have been marked including BMP-1/2, MT-LB and several BTR-70 / 80, and up to 10 new combat armored vehicles near the Dolgoe).

In DNR, a complex check of the units of the 1st Army Corps is conducted by the representatives of the FSB and the MoD of the Russian Federation in order to collect compromising data (facts of corruption, embezzlement of monetary and other resources, excess of authority, etc.) with respect to individual commanders of these units for further removal from positions, prosecution and replacement by new commanders (mainly from active officers of the RF Armed Forces). At the moment, such a check takes place in the "9th separate assault mechanized regiment of 1stArmy Corps DNR" (Novoazovsk district).

The command of the "2nd Army Corps LNR" urgently requires to observe the norms of the operation of armament and combat equipment from commanders of units and their technical supply officers, as well as to allow exclusively trained personnel to use them. The corresponding order says that recently there has been a breakdown of "separate units" of military equipment because of the unpreparedness of personnel allowed to operate them.

Militants from the "law enforcement authorities of the DNR" stepped up filtration activities among people living in the territory controlled by the "DNR" and having constant contacts or family ties in the territory controlled by Ukraine. At the same time, individuals whose relatives serve in the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the National Police and other law enforcement agencies fall into a "special risk group". There are separate cases of detention of such persons, their many hours of interrogation, including using psychological and physical methods.

The occupiers are intensely spreading rumors among the civilian population of Gorlovka that "punishers of the Right Sector and the Azov Regiment" arrived in the area of Novolugansk, Dolomitnoe and Holmovskoe with the purpose of carrying out "acts of terror and genocide". What kinds of actions, according to the version of the invaders, the arriving "detachments of punishers" will conduct - is not specified.

March 2-3 this year, due to the initiative of the Donetsk Bulgarian cultural and educational society "Vozrozhdenie" with the support of the youth wing of the public organization "Oplot Donbasa " - "Reserve of the Republic" and the Donetsk Center of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after A. Krymsky plans to hold a roundtable on "140 years since Bulgaria's liberation from the Ottoman yoke in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878" with the participation of "leaders of national-cultural societies" of the "DNR" in Donetsk. One of the goals of the event is to establish links with organizations of the Republic of Bulgaria for the mutual exchange of delegations and attempts to legalize DNR at the international level.

IR summary: the occupation troops got the order of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces on the reduction of fire activity prior to the election of the President of the Russian Federation
10.03.2018 - 12:10

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

There is a decrease in the intensity of fire strikes by the Russian occupation forces on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements in the Donbass. This is due both to the agreements reached during the negotiations of the Tripartite Contact Group and to the order of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces directed to the commanders of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces, which prescribes to limit the infliction of fire strikes on positions Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory under Ukraine's control for the period of preparation and holding of the presidential elections. Also, according to this order, all armed formations of the "DNR" and “LNR” are tightened to the heavy security until March 19 this year.

The following activities are carried out at military training ranges of 1st and 2ndArmy Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces:

- "Centralniy", "Slavniy" and "Udarniy" training ranges: the enemy continues to carry out activities aimed at working out the issues of organization of interaction in actions in the reconnaissance and fire contour with the use of UAVs;

- "Primorskiy" training range: measures are being developed aimed at working out the issues of conducting military urban operations and organizing CPs.

To ensure the activities of units and subunits of 1st and 2nd Army Corps, 6 wagons with ammunition (railway station Ilovaysk), up to 10 trucks with ammunition (Debaltsevo), as well as about 800 tons of fuel (railway station Rovenky) were delivered from the territory of Russia during the last week period.

The movement of armored vehicles and self-propelled artillery of the occupants in the Donetsk region was noted - along the route N-21, a column of 6 units of T-72 and 4 units of 122-mm self-propelled guns 2C1 Gvozdika, 1 unit of MT-LB and 1unit of BMP-1, and a column of 4 trucks Ural and 2 trucks GAZ-66 (with automatic 82-mm mortar type 2B9 "Cornflower") were fixed moving towards to the Donetsk

North-west and west of the Boikovskoe, invaders activated the equipment of the battalion defense area (2nd echelon). Attention is drawn to the fact that recently they have stopped allowing observers of the CMM OSCE to the area of Staromarevka and Novaya Marevka. In Razdolnoye in the direction of Boikovskoe, a column of 10 trucks Kamaz and two units of BTR-80 was fixed. Obviously, the occupation command is going to seriously strengthen this section.

An investigation is being carried out concerning the embezzlement of paintwork materials supplied for the application of winter camouflage to military equipment and armament in the "5th separate mechanized brigade" of the occupation troops. The armament was camouflaged "only partially" (in a small amount).

In two units of the 1st Army Corps "DNR" ("3rd separate mechanized brigade" and "11th separate mechanized regiment"), the command records "a decrease in the level of the moral and psychological state of personnel" in connection with the ban on the opening of fire on the positions of the AFU. The special irritation of militants and Russian mercenaries caused threats from the command of "detailed investigation of all cases of unmotivated opening of fire" and promises of "punishment of those responsible".

The command of the 2nd Army Corps "LNR" "urged" the recruiting agency to force the actually failed company to mobilize the "territorial defense battalions" in the southern regions of the occupied territory of the Lugansk region - Rovenky, Anthracite, Sverdlovsk. In the classified report on the 2nd Army Corps, it is pointed out that "there are limited possibilities for completing the reserve units of the Corps". In turn, the military commissariats are justified by the fact that "the local population has a lot of alternative sources of income that are not related to the acute need to serve in the ranks of the people's militia", and numerous "activities for professional orientation and military-patriotic education have only a partial effect on mood of the local population".

The leadership of the "MGB LNR", under the supervision of the FSB of the Russian Federation, using controlled groups in social networks ("Odnoklassniki", "Vkontakte") and separatist media resources, organized an information campaign aimed at discrediting the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The main purpose of the action is to reduce the level of trust of the inhabitants of the region to representatives of the special services, because of the dissemination of fictitious, untrue information (for example, the involvement of certain employees of the Security Service of the Security Service in Donetsk and Lugansk regions and other law enforcement agencies in the corruption of minors and rape). Responsible for conducting this information campaign is a former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lugansk region Andrey A. Rudenko (born October 25, 1984, a native of Lugansk, lives at 2, Matrosov St., Lugansk). At the moment he heads the so-called "Department for the Protection of the Constitutional Order and the Fight against Terrorism" of the gang formation of the "MGB LNR".

IR summary: the command of "1st Army Corps DNR" plans to create a unit of "tunnel rats"
22.03.2018 - 12:15

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

In the last week period (from March 15 to 21 of this year) in the zone of combat activities in the Donbass, there is a decrease in the intensity of fire strikes at positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Units and formations of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupying forces were at an increased level of readiness for the period of preparation and conduct of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation (on March 18 this year), an intensified counter-intelligence regime was introduced throughout the occupied territory by the Russian occupation command.

The enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance of the military formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the week-long period, 7 reconnaissance flights of the UAV of the RF Armed Forces were recorded, including 2 flights of UAV Orlan-10, which were carried out with a flight to the operational and tactical depth of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The following intensive activities were carried out in units and subunits of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces at the military ranges "Centralniy", "Udarniy", "Slavniy" and "Primorskiy":

- Combat training and organization of interaction of units with the use of UAV;

- Working out the issues of conducting urban military operations;

- Training of drivers and operators-gunners of combat vehicles.

In addition, civil defense exercises were conducted on March 15 this year in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The system of alerting the population, the condition of the bomb shelters, as well as the organization of interaction between military units and commissariats with practical development of questions of alerting the postscript personnel and the deployment of personnel reception points were checked.

To support the activities of units 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces, about 1,300 tons of fuel (railway station Rovenky) was delivered from the territory of Russia for a week period.

Also, the enemy continues to improve its positions (both in the first line and in the second) in terms of engineering. In addition, there have been a number of regroupings and reinforcements of occupation forces in some sectors of the front line. In particular:

- The invaders closed the area from Dokuchaevsk to the north to Donetsk, CPs were organized, and the movement of civilian vehicles was restricted. According to the IR group, armored vehicles are being transferred through Molodezhnoe to Yelenovka at the same time. Up to 10 units (mostly infantry fighting vehicles) were fixed;

- In the area of Yasinovataya to the northeast of Vasilievka and Betmanovo, the enemy's mining of certain areas is recorded. And in some cases we are talking about the areas behind the advanced positions of the militants, practically in their rear. Mining is secretive, both anti-personnel and anti-tank mines are used. It is not excluded that this is a provocative preparation, or these actions are attempts to prevent the unauthorized retreat of the advanced units of the occupying forces;

- The enemy continues to strengthen the northern side of the Debaltsevo defense hub in the Svetlodarsk arc area. There are new units of armored vehicles (4 BMP-1/2 and 1 MT-LB) in the area of Novogrigoryevka. Also, the delivery of the ammo by several trucks Kamaz from the direction of Uglegorsk towards the settlement of Kalinovka was noted (mortar mines and ammunition for grenade launchers);

- The occupiers strengthened their unit, which defends along the border height 206.9 - Belaya Kamenka by several units of armored vehicles (in the area of Belaya Kamenka there was a pair of entrenched BMP-1 and 1 MT-LB), and 3 units of BMP-1 were observed in the area southeast of Petrovskoe, disguised in landing;

- The 4th separate tank battalion of the 2nd Army Corps (the former tank battalion "August") is sent to the training ground for training purposes. According to plans, among other issues, the question of the use of tanks in conjunction with artillery will be worked out.

There is a partial check of the standard combat equipment in separate units of the 2nd Army Corps (in the 2nd and 4th separate mechanized brigades). Rumors are circulating among the militants of these brigades that this event is held before the arriving of a new large batch of armored vehicles (primarily BMP-1/2) and specialized motor vehicles from Russia.

A group of Russian "advisers" at the headquarters of the 1st Army Corps demanded that the command structures of the Corps have "more carefully study the interaction" between the units of different combat arms during the exercises currently conducted at the "DNR" training grounds. As a result of inspections of these exercises, the "advisers" noted a formal approach to the organization and conduct of appropriate training by the command of a number of brigades and regiments.

The units of the 3rd, 5th and 7th separate mechanized brigades, as well as the 11thseparate mechanized regiment of the 1st Army Corps are continuing to be completed by "trained contingent". The Corps command marks the so-called "stabilization" of the situation with replenishment and a comparative increase in the number of mercenaries from the Russian Federation wishing to undergo "contract military service" in these formations.

In Gorlovka, there are rumors about the "American special forces" that allegedly operate in the Zaitsevo-Zhovanka area and in the Golmovskoe district. According to rumors circulated by militants, the US military commands the actions of the special operations teams of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces in these sectors. Most of the militants from the 3rdseparate mechanized brigade, operating on these sites, are really sure that the American "snipers and saboteurs" are working with Ukrainian ones. In turn, in units of "1st Army Corps DNR" south of Donetsk, the command was informed that the "special forces of Norway" arrived in these areas (allegedly with the purpose of training sniffer rangers). Characteristically, after the statement by one of the medium-level militia commanders with the personnel as a joke that "soon the Australian and Mongolian special forces will arrive to the Ukrainians, and there will be a full set", this commander received a disciplinary penalty for "discrediting official information."

There is an increased interest shown by the “MGB DNR” and the intelligence agencies of the 1st Army Corps to underground communications and collectors near the line of demarcation in the DAP area, western and north-western regions of Donetsk, and verification of similar facilities was also recorded in Gorlovka. Numerous attempts by the occupants to use it to make raids on the advanced units of the AFU have been noted. While these cases are of the nature of "improvisation", however, according to some information, the issue of forming by the above-mentioned structures of the invaders of a certain special unit for "tunnel and underground" combat operations (following the example of American "tunnel rats" in Vietnam) is being considered.

“MGB LNR” activated the monitoring of emergency situations according to the information of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other power structures of the “LNR”, as well as local sanitary and epidemiological, socio-economic and socio-political events. The purpose of collecting information is the timely detection and prevention of protest activity of the population in the "LNR".

The ringleaders of the "DNR" once again instructed the heads of the regional occupation administrations (Makeyevka, Gorlovka) to check the state of readiness for the "elections of the head of the DNR" and "deputies of the People's Council of the DNR" (it is reported that such "elections" are planned on 4 November 2018).

To promote and attempts to legitimize DNR and LNR in the countries of the European Union, the leaders of the "Communist Party of the DNR" agreed with the representatives of the Party Communist Renaissance (Italy, Italy, Partito della Rifondazione Comunista, PRC) the possibility to conduct the events in Rome and Milan in mid-April this year aimed at supporting the "DNR / LNR".

IR summary: the commanders of the LDNR units do not want to go to "retraining" in the Russian Federation
27.03.2018 - 12:15

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

In the period from 20 to 26 March this year, despite the agreements reached on the cease-fire, the intensity of fire strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine increased. In total, units of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces carried out up to 70 artillery raids (over the past week period up to 20) by 82/120-mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles and tanks. The most intense fire strikes were inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of the settlements Kamenka, Avdeevka, Peski, Opytnoe, Troitskoe, Lugansk, Lebedinskoe, Talakovka, Vodyanoe and Shirokino. In addition, the enemy fired on the Ukrainian Armed Forces from small arms in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya, which is a violation of the agreement on the separation of forces in this area.

The invaders continued to conduct active air reconnaissance of the combat orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the period from 20 to 26 March this year, 12 reconnaissance flights of the UAVs of the RF Armed Forces were recorded, including 2 flights of UAV Orlan-10, which were carried out with a flight to the operational and tactical depth of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After the election of the President of the Russian Federation (March 18 this year), units and formations of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupying forces, as well as other "security agencies" of the occupation forces have been transferred to the daily routine of activity since March 20 this year.

The units and formations of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupying forces continue to be intensively carried out combat training activities at the "Yuzhniy", "Centralniy", "Slavniy", "Udarniy" and "Primorskiy" military training grounds. At the same time, the main efforts of the enemy are directed to the preparation and conduct of battalion tactical exercises, as well as the submission of a final check for the winter period of training.

In addition, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the command of the Russian occupation forces continues to carry out measures to clarify the mobilization resource, the training of personnel assigned to posts, the organization of interaction between military units and commissariats, with practical development of issues of alerting the postscript personnel, and the deployment of personnel reception points.

To ensure the activities of units and formations of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces, about 1,000 tons of fuel were delivered to the railway station Ilovaysk and about 800 tons of fuel to the railway station Krasnaya Mogila from the territory of Russia in the period from March 20 to 26 of this year.

In Gorlovka, the invaders are actively looking for "persons with medical education" to staff the 3rd separate mechanized brigade. The brigade suffers a catastrophic shortage of doctors.

In the same 3rd Brigade of the occupants in Gorlovka, a number of units were switched to dry-meal for several days because of the inability to provide hot meals to personnel directly in the places of deployment. On the assurance of the command, these difficulties are extremely temporary.

In Donetsk, the "rapid reaction" units of the "MIA DNR" have been transferred to the barracks regime and are in high alert. The reason for these events is unknown at this time.

In Debaltsevo, "DNR law enforcers" carried out a series of round-ups and arrests of "militia veterans" who had links to the former "field commander" of the militants Sviridov ("Machete"). At least ten militants were detained.

The epic continues with the checking of computers and gadgets of militants and Russian mercenaries in several units of the 1st Army Corps. The use of "mobile communication devices" during office hours is forbidden. For violation of the order, the command promises the most stringent penalties.

The Command of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps selects commanders of units for retraining on the basis of the Southern Military District of the RF Armed Forces. The selected candidates do not express their desire to go to the Russian Federation because, according to the stories of people who returned from "retraining", Russian instructors refer to the contingent from the "LDNR" as "second-class people", regardless of rank, position and "combat merit". Russian instructors themselves, in the opinion of the militants, do not have any combat experience, so "retraining" does not make sense.

In the units of the 1st Army Corps, the "political officers" and a number of commanders launched a broad campaign to eradicate "systematic violations of military discipline". They use "shameful stands" under the general motto "They disgrace our unit", some "educational fines" and even threats of "early dismissal" (in the conditions of growing unemployment in depressed towns and villages in the occupied territory, this threat is perceived painfully).

The role of Russian special services in the destabilization of Ukrainian-Polish relations
27.03.2018 - 17:35

The aim of the Kremlin's external aggressive policy is to promote the "Russian world" project, which must restore the lost positions of Russia in the European space. The main task of the Russian special services is to create new lines of division between the EU and NATO countries, as well as their neighbors. While Moscow has little success in this area, nevertheless, the growing intervention of Putin's regime in Ukrainian-Polish relations should alert the Europeans. Warsaw and other European countries should remain vigilant at the front of the face of hybrid threats emanating from the architects of the world's transformation to the interests of the chimera "Russian Empire".

Divided Europe as the aim of the Kremlin's hybrid war

In November 2017, Polish Defense Minister Anthony Matserevich, during a visit to the US, said that the regime of President Putin is preparing a war against NATO and may begin it soon. The first step in this war is already Ukraine, which should become an integral part of the re-created Russian Empire. According to him, Putin "wants Ukraine" even if by force. Then the turn of Poland and other countries will come. It will be done at any cost and "by any means” ... Putin has a lot of cards in his hand. As the experience of the aggressive actions of Russians shows, starting from 2014, the Kremlin considers the hybrid war as the main instrument for conquering of neighboring nations.

The key to understanding the specifics of the phenomenon of the Russian hybrid war may be a greater interest in non-military actions of the Russian Federation. And here we should not forget that Russian non-military attacks do not focus only on the subject to which armed force actions were applied, as in the case with Ukraine now. They equally apply to the international community, potentially capable of becoming a threat to the implementation of the plans of the aggressor.

It should be remembered that the key role is assigned to special services here, which are set targets to exert influence on the international community, as well as on individual "target countries". The intelligence services, in this context, collect information on the weaknesses of victims of potential hybrid aggression, organize sabotage networks and cultivate the fifth columns for subversive activities, discrediting opponents and provocations.

First of all, Russia dreams to split the ranks of NATO and EU members using its soft power, as well as to destroy the relations of these multinational associations with neighboring countries. In addition, there has been a tireless work to escalate the maximum number of contradictions within societies in Europe that oppose the aggressive course of the Putin regime.

In early 2014, the Polish Internal Security Agency claimed about "high activity" of Russia's special services on Polish territory. Their main goal was to discredit the position of Poland and NATO, in particular in the matter of war in the east of Ukraine.

"An important element of Russian activity was the creation of disagreements between the EU and NATO. The anti-European and anti-American statements of mostly Euro-skeptics from the EU member states and voices criticizing the possibility of stricter policy towards the Russian Federation were put forward", - the report of the Polish Internal Security Agency said.

Over time, these trends in subversive activities of the Russian Federation have found more and more evidence in practice, and without special modifications continue to exist even now. It starts with subversive propaganda. For example, more recently Russian propagandists - the avant-garde of the Russian special services, have all been promoting the theme that the chairman of the ruling Polish party "Right and Justice", Jaroslaw Kaczynski, once again announced Poland's intention to demand that Germany should pay reparations for damages inflicted on the country during the Second World War.

According to the calculations of the Sejm, Berlin remains due to Warsaw $ 48.8 billion. At the same time, the German government rejected such claims. According to experts, Germany has already paid all possible reparations, and there are no legal grounds for these claims. As can be seen, this thesis is moving forward with the aim of bringing tension to Warsaw's relations with its key partner within the EU. The aim is obvious: introducing disorder in the ranks of the organization by exacerbating problem stories of states from past.

As early as January 2018, a new topic was launched that Poland could withdraw from the European Union. Allegedly, the current leadership of the country is keeping only financial subsidies in the EU, and the present Polish people are largely disappointed by the European Union. The issue of values is especially important for Polish society. The current liberal European values do not suit Polish society and cause quite strong rejection. It was such ideas, far from reality and common sense, projected against this background by research fellow Oleg Nemensky from Russia's Institute for Strategic Studies. As it is known, RISS is an organization that was a part of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation.

Speaking of pressure on NATO, as usual, Moscow is systematically planted the idea that Poland is the "Trojan horse of the United States" in Europe. It is in this view that the Polish project of the "Intermarium" ("Three seas"), which Russian propagandists call Washington's game against Berlin and Paris, is showed. Moreover, the Kremlin wants to submit this idea, as Warsaw's hegemonic desire to lead the space between the Black, Baltic and Adriatic seas.

They will do everything in order to remove attention from their ambitions of spreading the "Russian world", from which even the visionary inhabitants of the East of Ukraine, who live in the conditions of the occupation by the terrorist groups "DNR" and "LNR", have already disowned. But Russia does not grieve and does not stop, because the destinies of ordinary people, including the inhabitants of Donbass, are only a step in the program to seize control of the peoples of Europe. The platforms, where the scenarios of subjugating and weakening the countries of the West are being worked out, by introducing discord in their relations, are the conflicts between Ukraine and Poland.

How and who destroys the Ukrainian-Polish brotherhood

It is not a secret that the Kremlin has been working for a long time and deliberately to bring discord into the relations between Kiev and Warsaw. Polish experts write that the growing importance of the Republic of Poland in central Europe, seen in Moscow after Brexit in 2016, the government's clear position on the need to maintain sanctions against the Russian Federation, as well as the desire to establish cooperation with Ukraine, against which Russia is waging war, became the main area of Kremlin interest.

Since Moscow's ambition is the collapse of a united Europe into two camps - the liberal countries of the "old EU" and the more conservative Central European countries - attempts to consolidate the countries of the Visegrad Group, the Baltic countries and Romania, aimed at cooperation with Ukraine, can cause the Kremlin's concern.

Polish people recognize that the important role in the consolidating process is played also by Ukraine, which at least at the level of the declaration is more or less supported by all the countries of central Europe. Although there are conflicts between Ukraine and its western neighbors sometimes happen, they are quite solvable, and they are rather elements of a difficult lapping for a future life together in a single European family. At the same time, an important sphere that unites these countries is closely connected with the Russian problems, namely, counteracting the conquest by the Kremlin.

One of the leading forces in the consolidating alliance, lobbying closer cooperation with Ukraine, for a long time was precisely Poland. The country was even considered as a lawyer for Kiev in the EU. But other authorities in the republic took power speculating on the trust of the electorate on relations with Ukrainians from the historical past. In 2014 the Polish citizens were very concerned about the risk that Moscow will not stop in the Donbass and go on to war further, and Poland will be the next military goal of the Kremlin. Three years ago the theme of the Donbass in Poland was very strong and half of the materials in all publications of the country were devoted to it, but now it has come to naught. But even against this background, Poland still remains the most anti-Russian state, consistently supports the preservation of the sanctions regime against Moscow, and calls it the biggest problem for the world.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky said in January 2018: "... what will happen in the case of the war in the Donbass when the Russian army moves deep into the territory of Ukraine? Obviously, we do not know this, but we hope that Kremlin will not do it, but it would be better if we have a second and third line of defense than if we were deprived of this type of weapon. Thus, I assess the threat from Russia. In my opinion, what Russia is doing in Ukraine is very dangerous".

A great gift for Russians was the adoption a law that forbade accusing the Polish people of involvement in the genocide of Jews by the Sejm of the country in January 2018 of, as well as denying the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists, which caused a series of international scandals. President of Poland Andrzej Duda signed a law on the Institute of National Remembrance, which provides for imprisonment up to three years for public statements about the involvement of the Polish people in the Holocaust, as well as for denying the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists.

The Polish law led to a sharp deterioration in relations with Ukraine and Israel. It was convicted both in the US and Europe, as well as inside Poland itself. So, populists pour water on the mill of Russian interests, because Kiev and Warsaw, even temporarily, but quarrel among themselves. It is obvious that the Russian government will apply more and more efforts to delay the process of rapprochement between Ukraine and Poland in the near and distant future. This is one of the elements that allow the Kremlin to obtain significant advantages for conducting a "hybrid war" on the Ukrainian-Polish platform.

The Polish Foreign Ministry is well aware of these risks. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Poland Jacek Chaputovich declares that he does not want that historical disputes to weaken the ties between the Polish and Ukrainian societies. The minister was a participant of the Peremyshl conference "Europe of the Carpathians", during which parliamentarians, representatives of local governments and experts discussed the future of Central and Eastern Europe.

The head of Polish diplomacy expressed the hope that historical issues will not become an obstacle between Poland and Ukraine: "It is about the fact that societies can get to know each other so they can learn their arguments so that historians can conduct discussions on these topics and that it is not was an obstacle in bilateral relations. I want to repeat: strategically, regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Ukraine's defense, support in its dispute with Moscow and for the pro-European orientation of Ukraine - there is no doubt, "the Polish Foreign Minister said.

The Polish Foreign Ministry and special services realize that the "anti-Bandera law" lays the foundation for confrontation at different levels between Poles and Ukrainians in the country. According to data for 2017, Poland, on the basis of invitations from employers, issued about 95,000 visas to Ukrainian citizens. According to the information of 2016, the number of Ukrainian citizens who work in the Polish economy is estimated at 770 thousand people. Also, the number of Ukrainians visiting the country after the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU is growing. Obviously, at the level of ordinary people, the two countries are getting closer and closer to each other and the Kremlin concerns about it. The aim is to destroy the atmosphere of good neighborliness.

One of the examples of such events took place on June 26, 2016 in Peremyshl. A dozen young people aged 18-20 years in black T-shirts with the inscription "Precz z Banderą!" (Bandera get out) accompanied group of Ukrainians to the grave of fighters for the will of Ukraine in Pikulichi (in 1945, almost all Ukrainians from this village were moved in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army defended the peaceful Ukrainian population, not allowing the Poles to populate the liberated territories).

First, they stood for a long time at the entrance to the Cathedral of Ivan the Baptist while the service was going on, and moved from the place when a cross-shaped move was formed. The all watched by the police. They saw how young people with posters appeared, watched as one of them run up to the participant in the procession in an embroidered black and red shirt and tore it up with the words "Nie przejdziecie!" and "Won z Polski!" ("Get out of Poland!"). Then the police reacted not very actively. Although it was obvious that the situation was very tense, and the aggravation of ethnic strife should have been of interest to the special services of Poland in search of an external trace, of course, we are talking about the Russians.

This was especially evident in the events of December 10, 2016 in Przemysl, where the "March of Peremyshl and Lviv eagles" took place. It was held under the patronage of the mayor of the city Homa Robert. During the procession, one of the participants shouted "Death to Ukrainians!", "Peremyshl, Lviv - always Polish!" near the Ukrainian People's House. And the people in the column supported him. After the march, the organizers said that the video of the incident is provocation aimed at creating a negative image of the city and the country, and screaming outsiders connected with Moscow.

This is confirmed by the words of the Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Peklo: "For Putin's Russia it is not so simple to create a pro-Russian lobby in Poland. But they can do something for quarrel between the Poles and Ukrainians. This is the easiest. And they can do this through history, relying on some black spots in history ... The "Hand of the Kremlin" is present in the provocation that occurred in Peremyshl. This is a provocation mechanism. The factory of fakes is just a Russian method to quarrel us", - the ambassador said.

Situations, in which only a few dozen people participated, were reflected in a large number of articles, social media posts and comments, executed by enemy statements against both nations. Though everything ended in verbal skirmishes, a wave of mutual accusations and insults on the national soil was generated.

It is worth emphasizing that these events have affected the deterioration of Polish-Ukrainian relations, primarily among citizens. In addition, this information instantly spread into the network and led to the revival of certain, still existent, mutual animosity on both sides of the border. However, mutual accusations, claims and deeply rooted resentments of small groups of Poles and Ukrainians, fueled by effective propaganda actions, can become fertile ground for all sorts of new provocations and forcing the two friendly peoples and strategic partners with foreheads.

Russia in order to implement such a scenario does not even need to use special units or so-called "green men". It will be enough radical organizations financially supported by the Kremlin, who will beat ethnic minority representatives on the national soil, and drive the wheels of the car leading to an acute internal confrontation with Ukrainians in Poland.

How Russian special services operate under the Polish flag

Recognizing the growing risks that Russia is exerting on Polish soil and the fact that the country may become the object of a more conspicuous hybrid operation than it was in Ukraine, the Sejm special services committee held a secret meeting on March 22, 2018 to discuss the role of Russian special services in provocations with the aim of destabilizing Ukrainian-Polish relations.

"We want to learn from the heads of special services about the role of Russian special services in anti-Polish provocations and disinformation in Ukraine," the chairman of the committee, Marek Opiola, said on March 13. They intend to hear information that the representatives of the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the Intelligence Agency (AW), the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW) and the Military Intelligence Service (SWW), must provide.

"Together we will ask them to present a report about the role of Russians in such anti-Ukrainian activities in Poland. In our opinion, these actions are aimed at provoking and deepening discontent towards Ukrainian citizens in Poland and Poles in Ukraine, and this is part of the hybrid war of Russia", - the head of the committee stressed. He noted that the commission will also consider the case of an attempted arson attack of the Uzhgorod Cultural Center of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine by the Poles.

As it known, the office of the "Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia" in Uzhgorod was set on fire by Polish radicals from the national-radical movement "Phalange" on February 4, 2018. Law enforcers established their identities, and declared them on the international wanted list. For an attempt to set fire to the office of the Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia, there are two right-wing radicals from Poland. This is Adrian Marglewski, born April 1, 1996, a resident of Krakow and Tomasz, Rafal Szimkowiak, born January 24, 1993, a resident of Bydgoszcz. Both are citizens of Poland, followers of the right-wing radical organization "Phalange", whose members participated in the fighting in the Donbass on the side of the militants of the so-called "LNR" and "DNR".

Foreigners made two attempts at arson: the first - at 1:00 am on February 4. It is known from photo and video recording. Since the consequences of the arson seemed insignificant to the criminals, at 4:08 am they committed another attempt at arson, buying petrol in a plastic container at one of the gas stations before. On the morning of the same day, the Poles traveled by bus on the Ukrainian-Slovak border through the "Uzhhorod" border crossing point.

Thanks to the rapid reaction of Ukrainian law enforcement officers, both foreigners were declared suspicious, after which they were declared international wanted. Already on February 22, the Polish Internal Security Agency, in cooperation with the Ukrainian side, detained the Poles suspected of setting fire to the building of the regional office of the organization of Transcarpathia Hungarians. With regard to the two suspects, a decision was made to have a three-month arrest, and the third detainee was given police surveillance. In the framework of this case, the Internal Security Agency considers various motives. In particular, international contacts of suspects are monitored.

If after the arson the representatives of the Hungarian side were not sociable, then after the destruction of their building on the night of February 27 they unequivocally stated that there is no person in Ukraine and Transcarpathia in particular who would have committed this crime. “We have nationalists, ultranationalists, but I do not think that citizens of Ukraine did it”. This opinion was expressed by the first deputy chairman of the Transcarpathian regional council and deputy chairman of the Society of Hungarian culture of Transcarpathia, Joseph Borto.

Cases of provocations involving Polish citizens aimed at exacerbating Ukrainian-Hungarian relations are an important example of the work of Russians under a foreign flag for the purpose of subversive operations, relying on radical organizations or individual manual politicians fed by Russian special services.

Already earlier mentioning "Phalange" is only one of them. Immediately after the collapse of the USSR, Russian intelligence decided to bet on right-wing forces throughout the liberated communist yoke in Central and Eastern Europe. Priority was given to investing and recruiting youth movements. First of all, they were less watched by the local press and special services. And also, for reasons of financial savings - young people, especially students, cost quite a small amount of money. Although with time, they grow up quite controlled and respectable deputies and ministers, the most real agents of influence. The Kremlin financed the neo-fascists far beyond the former Warsaw Pact, including covering Germany, France, Holland, Italy and Spain with its shufflers.

The most interesting case here is the exposure of an employee of the FIS of Russia Alexander Samozhnev by Polish special services. Polish secret services established that Samozhnev purposefully recruited young national-patriots of Poland. For several months they conducted surveillance to Samoshnev, but could not get a sanction for his arrest. It seems that he had a protector, which delayed the arrest.

Samozhnev was an inconspicuous man of 50 years and officially worked in a major Moscow newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda. The CIA in 1995-1997 found that he had the rank of colonel of the FIS, and he was deported from the US, where he worked. In Poland, Samozhnev moved to 1999, where he immediately began working with representatives of the political party "League of Polish Families" (LPR). The Russians invested considerable financial resources in this structure.

Already in 2001, this political force received 8% of the vote in the elections to the Polish Sejm, and in 2004 - joined in the European Parliament (14%). The Kremlin used the League for additional political pressure on the coalition organized by the Americans against Saddam Hussein in 2003. Then representatives of the LPR demanded a referendum on the withdrawal of Polish troops from Iraq.

Later, when it was possible to nurture a young generation of Polish radicals, they got rid of this political party. It is important to point out that at that time, at the end of the 1990s, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service managed to create the organization "All-Polish Youth", whose activists would be fully used for various provocations against Ukrainians fifteen years later, when Russia annexes the Crimea and will move troops to the Donbas.

“All-Polish Youth" occupies a youth conservative niche. Since the early 2000s, it has been associated with the national-conservative party "League of Polish Families", funded by Russian intelligence. According to the quota of this party, the founder of the "All-Polish Youth" Roman Gertikh served as Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister from May 2006 to August 2007. But already in 2012, "All-Polish Youth" together with the "National Radical Camp" developed their own political project - the party "National Movement". And the party "National Movement" brought the poster "Remember Lviv and Vilnius" to the march of Independence on November 11, 2017.

Now let's return to the already mentioned anti-Ukrainian organization, right-wing radical "Falange", some of whose members fought on the side of illegal armed formations in the Donbass. The extremist group is headed by nationalist Ukrainophob Bartosh Becker. During the participation of the "phalangists" in the armed conflict on the side of the Donbas separatists, they actively developed contacts with extremists from the Russian party "Other Russia" Eduard Limonov, whose members were engaged in recruiting mercenaries in the EU and post-Soviet countries in the interests of Russian special services.

Friendly relations were established with the "Eurasians" of Alexander Dugin, the mentor of the "first wave" separatist leaders of Donbas. The establishment of ties with the leaders of the extremely right (in fact neo-fascist) party of Hungary - "Jobbik" ("For the best Hungary"), which also having ties to the Russian intelligence service, is noted. With "Jobbik", “Polish "Phalange" brings together xenophobic and anti-Semitic rhetoric. It is noted that with the beginning of Russian aggression in Ukraine neo-fascists from "Jobbik" organized a picket near the building of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry under the slogan "Crimea-Russia, Transcarpathia-Hungary". The ultra-right Hungarians declared a set of militants in the illegal armed formation "The Legion of St. Istvan", which, like noted in "Jobbik", is fighting in the Donbass "against the European Union and the United States" and associated power with them in Kiev.

Here we become witnesses of the formation of another plot line, namely, so to say the international assistance of Polish neo-Nazis to their Hungarian adherents. The story of arson in Uzhhorod is just a red rag for Hungarian neo-fascists, who are constantly looking for any reasons for attacking Ukraine.

When analyzing the activities of the "Phalange" it is necessary to emphasize that its leadership maintains close ties with the Polish pro-Kremlin party "Smena". Although this political force is from a different part of the spectrum, and professes the ultra-left ideology. What makes two antipodes together? The answer is that they equally radiate extreme anti-Americanism, and at the same time declare their firm support for the course of Putin.

The Polish special services closely studied the contacts of the leader of the "Smena" Mateusz Piskorsky. According to Gazeta Wyborcza, documents from the Internal Security Agency indicate that Mateusz Piskorsky has been in constant contact with Russian special services since 2013, carried out tasks of propaganda of Russian interests in Poland, and received financial support for this. Moscow financed the "Smena" through him, which was supposed to form and support anti-Ukrainian sentiments, and also to destabilize Ukrainian-Polish relations. For this, Piskorsky was arrested in 2016.

Another example, as Russian special services disorganize relations between Warsaw and Kiev in the context of a hybrid war, is financing Polish radicals from the territory of Belarus. The groups Cyber Hunta and Cyber Alliance broke the mail of the Belarusian businessman Alexander Usovsky and found that he was a financier of the Polish radical movements. Usovsky got 100 thousand euros from people of the Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who contributed to the seizure of the Crimea and participated in the early stages of the project "Novorossiya". The funds went to organize anti-Ukrainian rallies and demonstrations under the slogan "Stop the war in Ukraine! Stop the crimes of Bandera!". In the actions that took place in the summer and autumn of 2014, the nationalist organizations "Camp of Great Poland" and "World Congress of the Kress" took part.

The Russian special services do not disdain to use of "persons of influence". For example, we are talking about the Polish "journalist" Tomasz Maceiichuk. He began as a Polish nationalist. Marcin Ray, the author of the project "The Fifth Russian Column in Poland", who on the basis of open data describes the relations of the Poles with the Kremlin, wrote in detail about his contacts with this environment. Maceiichuk, as Ray notes, was one of the founders of the web site of Polish radical nationalists from the pro-Russian group "Falange" - xportal.pl. As Ray writes, Maceiichuk was connected with the Slavic patriotic camps near Moscow, which co-organized by Polish nationalists from the "Camp of Great Poland".

But then he, under the order of Russian special services, was repainted in the "patriot of Ukraine". Maceiichuk traveled to the ATO zone and carried humanitarian aid to Ukrainian volunteers within the framework of the "Open Dialogue" mission. Through interviews with Yarosh and the militant Givi, he becomes an expert in Ukraine and gets on the airs of Polish TV. But he secretly collected and fabricated incriminating evidence on the volunteer battalions, calling them neo-Nazi formations. His rhetoric was reduced to the fact that "Ukrainians are Nazis, we said it early". For this, since 2015, the Security Service of Ukraine has closed entry to Ukraine from him for 5 years.

Maceiichuk and his curators did not disappoint, and he sharply turned to the camp of anti-Ukrainian video blogger Anatoly Shariy, and began to perpetuate himself in the arena of anti-Bandera rhetoric and propagandist of the "Volyn tragedy". And soon he became a frequent patron of Russian television, an expert on Russia and the initiator of the creation of an information portal in Russian about Poland and the Polish language about Russia.

But apparently the Russian FIS has more far-reaching plans, and Maceiichuk again needs them in Poland. To whitewash his reputation, the FSB conducted the arrest of Maceiichuk and the search of his Moscow apartment "for inciting hatred towards the Russians" in February 2018. As a result, he got a legend of a political refugee from Russia. Another zigzag in the stormy biography of the young "journalist" Maceiichuk should once again alert the Polish and Ukrainian special services.

It is clear that both countries are waiting for the next round of the hybrid war from the Kremlin, especially after the prolongation of Putin's power in the elections on March 18, which were more like a popular and non-alternative referendum. Considering that Putin received carte blanche for next 6 years, Warsaw, Kiev and the EU countries must to find joint mechanisms to counteract Russian hybrid aggression, especially with a view to limiting the destructive influence of Russian special services and their many-sided accomplices.

IR summary: the command of the occupiers cannot solve the problems associated with "reservists training"
02.04.2018 - 12:45

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The occupiers completely ignore the so-called "Easter truce". During the last weekend (31.03-01.04.2018), the enemy opened fire on different sectors of the front line, including using heavy weapons (120-mm mortars).

In particular, from the positions between Kalinovka and Logvinovo, the invaders fired by 120-mm mortars at the advanced positions of the AFU south of Svetlogorsk and Lugansk; the AFU positions along the Bahmut-Debaltsevo highway were also fired by 120 mm mortars from the area south of the height of 307.9. Also, the enemy throughout the area from the vicinity of the DAP to the positions on the "Almaz" actively used small arms, AGS, SPG, and 82-mm mortars were used. In the area between the air shaft of the Putilovskaya mine (Butovka mine) and the positions on Almaz, the raid infantry group of enemy, acting along the unfinished section of the ring road, attempted to fire the advanced positions of the AFU on the Almaz from the neutral zone. The group was pushed back to the initial line with the response fire of the armed guard of the AFU unit; the occupants were covered the withdrawal of this group by the fire of large-caliber machine guns and 82-mm mortars.

The occupation command continues to regroup its forces and assets:

- In the Lugansk region (LNR), the movement of a 6-gun battery of 152-mm howitzer type 2A65 Msta-B, 1 MT-LB, 3 trucks Ural and 1 UAZ-469 was fixed in the Ivanovka area along the highway to the north of the settlement Hrustalniy (former Krasny Luch);

- In the Petrovsk district of Donetsk, the occupants continue to equip new, hidden positions in the area of dumps at Trudovskie. The equipment of positions for mortars is fixed. There is an increase in the number of infantry, which occupies positions along Petrovskiy Street and north of the Osykovka River;

- The enemy strengthens its grouping on the ledge of Veselaya Gora to the north of Metallist. To the north of Lugansk, there was a column of light armored vehicles of the invaders in the direction of the front line - 6 units of BMP-1/2 and 3 units of MT-LB. In an hour, 3 units of BTR-80 have moved in the same direction;

- In the framework of the general strengthening of the Pervomaisk enemy formation, the invaders actively strengthen the engineering approaches to the city. The equipment of the battalion defense area continues in the area of Molodezhnoe and along the northern edge of the Lesnoe. There are new positions for fire weapons (mortar positions and positions for large-caliber machine guns, air defense weapons and SPG / ATGM), several new caponiers for armored vehicles appeared;

- On the Mariupol direction in a landing along the southern outskirts of the village Pikuzy (former Kominternovo), there is a placement of additional fire weapons by the enemy is recorded, ZU-23-2 AD system in the truck Ural and at least 2 large-caliber machine-guns of the "Utes" type, located in the trenches and disguised.

After the destruction the truck Ural with ammunition from the 7th separate mechanized brigade of the enemy from the ATGM by the advanced unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Nizhny Lozovoy on Sunday, the occupiers quickly began to conduct an information operation on the incident, spreading information that the Ural was allegedly "medical". However, according to eyewitnesses, ammunition in the destroyed allegedly "medical" Ural detonated for at least 30 minutes, with a large scatter of fragments.

According the reports of the command of a number of brigades of the "1st Army Corps DNR", there is a "very acute situation" with the drivers in the units and subunits of the Corps. For example, the Kalmius artillery brigade, the 100th Brigade and a number of units of the 5th and 7th separate mechanized brigade have a shortage of experienced drivers. In these brigades there are 3-4 units of vehicles for one or two drivers that must "go out on alert state ". In many cases, the invaders come out of the situation, attracting "servicemen" who are not registered as drivers and who are in other positions (up to the commanders) or "temporarily mobilized" civilian drivers to the management of motor vehicles.

In turn, in the "2nd Army Corps LNR", the command is actively looking for "auto mechanics" or drivers with the skills of "medium repair of trucks". These searches are caused by the fact that the rates of failure of vehicles exceed the repair capabilities directly in the brigades and even on the scale of the entire 2nd Army Corps.

During the ongoing "reservists training", the command of both Corps faced an acute shortage of supplies and material and technical resources for their provision. Extremely negative resonance among the personnel in the units and subunits of the 1st Army Corps caused the order of the command to "hand over the uniform of the 2015 year of issue for the needs of the reservists ". Both ordinary militants and Russian mercenaries, and unit commanders are extremely perplexed about this, pointing to complete ignorance of the real situation in units and subunits by the command - the fact is that even the now formed units are experiencing serious difficulties on the clothing allowance, not to mention the certain "excesses" or even the presence of "clothing of the year 2015", which has long been worn out.

Representatives of the "LNR military registration and enlistment offices" tried to collect about 200 miners of the coal enterprise "Sverdlovanthracite" for "reservists training". As a result, despite promises of payment of 500 rubles per day for the stay at the "training", the miners refused to go to "training" and threatened with physical reprisals to the representatives of the "military registration and enlistment offices". A similar situation arose at the enterprise "Rovenkyanthracite" and other mines of the coal industry in the occupied areas of Donbass.

The leadership of the “DNR” asked the Russian "curators" to resolve the issue of deliveries of additional batches of vaccine against hepatitis A from the Russian Federation, as it was said in the appeal, "in connection with the threat of an epidemic." Also, the leadership of the “DNR” promises that the vaccination of the population will be free.

The shipment of scrap metal continues by motor and railway transport from the occupied territory to the Russian Federation. So, only for the last day up to 10 Kamaz loaded with metal passed through the checkpoint "Dolzhansky" to Russia. In addition, in the southern occupied areas of the Lugansk region, metal is exported to the Russian Federation bypassing the border checkpoints. This is done in order not to pay bribes to militants and border guards of the Russian Federation.

IR summary: the occupiers have received a new batch of artillery systems "Nona-K" from the Russian Federation
05.04.2018 - 11:50

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

Over the last week, despite reached ceasefire agreements since March 30 this year, the intensity of fire strikes on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory under Ukraine's control has increased. In total, the units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces carried out at least 250 artillery raids (over the past week period - about 65) from 82/120-mm mortars, 122 mm artillery systems, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks during this period. The enemy uses snipers very active in different sectors of the contact line. The tactic of using single "sneaking" mortars is increasingly being used by the invaders.

The most intense fire strikes by the enemy were inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements Kamenka, Avdeevka, Peski, Opytnoe, Novolugansk, Katerinovka, Gnutovo, Talakovka, Pavlopol, Vodyanoe and Shirokino. In addition, the enemy fired the Ukrainian Armed Forces from small arms in the Stanitsa Luganskaya area on April 1 this year, which is a violation of the agreement on the cultivation of forces in this area.

In order to provoke the AFU for fire attacks, the enemy daily checks the combat readiness of its units and subunits on a number of sites by bringing them to the highest alert of combat readiness, and systematically conducts training with artillery units by demonstrative entry of combat squads to the firing positions and training them to firing.

Confirmed losses of Russian occupation forces in the Donbass amounted to 10 people in the period from March 28 to April 3 this year:

1st Army Corps – 9th separate assault mechanized regiment of naval infantry (Novoazovsk) - 2 servicemen, 3rd separate mechanized brigade (Gorlovka) - 4 servicemen, 11th separate mechanized regiment (Makeyevka) - 4 servicemen.

The maintenance of units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces is continuing: about 500 tons of petroleum products and up to 10 wagons with ammunition were delivered to the railway station Ilovaysk and railway station Krasnaya Mohila from the territory of Russia during the last week period. Also, 8 railway cars with artillery systems (identified as 120-mm 2B16 "Nona-K" guns) and 120-mm mortars arrived to the railway station Ilovaysk.

The combat training activities continue to be intensively carried out in units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupying forces at the military ranges "Yuzhniy", "Centralniy", "Slavniy", "Udarniy" and "Primorskiy". They work out the questions of coordination of actions of units during their actions and preparation for final check of the winter period of training. At the same time, for the purpose of monitoring the conduct of the final inspection for the winter period of training, the work of the integrated commission from the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces is planned in the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces at the end of April this year.

Also in the "2nd Army Corps LNR", the final training with artillery commanders is conducted on the topic of fire control of batteries (battalions) with practical training of fire missions. In connection with this, , the active movement of 122 mm MLRS BM-21 Grad, barreled and self-propelled artillery has been observed in the Khrustalny area (formerly Krasniy Luch) during the last few days. At least 4 columns of such equipment and weapons were fixed north of the town of Khrustalny in both directions during the last 5 days.

According to the command report, there is a "shortage of diesel fuel" in the "3rdseparate mechanized brigade" of the occupation troops (Gorlovka). The brigade is forced to supply units at a minimum, only for combat activities and for "providing everyday needs" in cut-back quantities. According to the report of the brigade command, while maintaining such a tendency it will be necessary to use a fuel reserve (emergency reserve) to maintain the current level of combat activity and combat training, which is strictly prohibited by earlier orders of the Russian command.

In recent weeks, "MGB LNR" has become much more active in the sphere of work with unoccupied territories. Former employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the SSU, who previously came over to the service of the invaders, "suddenly" massively remembered their colleagues who remained faithful to Ukraine. The telephone calls from third parties with "transfer of greetings" and even attempts at personal contacts and "invitations to visit" are fixed. In general, there is a purposeful work on "restoring the useful connections" and an attempt at recruitment using the "personal factor".

In Gorlovka, there is a conflict between the “MIA DNR” and the “MGB DNR”, which arose after the beating of two militants by unknown persons with the abduction of weapons from them. In particular, the conflict arose on the basis of various versions of what happened. Employees of the "Ministry of Internal Affairs" insist that this case, being far from single and it is purely criminal in nature and is caused by criminal activities in the city. In turn, the "MGB" in the fact of beating sees the activities of the Ukrainian underground, and is trying to use this case for the next large-scale events to "search Ukrainian special operation teams and pro-Ukrainian groups" in Gorlovka.

The leadership of the “Ministry of Health of the LNR” plans to conduct a comprehensive audit of the financial and economic activities of the medical sphere of the republic. Special attention will be paid to the distribution of "humanitarian supplies" received from the Russian Federation in 2015-2018. There are rumors among the employees of the “Ministry of Health of the LNR” and the staff of medical institutions that this check is caused by the high level of embezzlement of Russian assistance by the leaders of the "LNR" and the considerable dissatisfaction of the Russian curators with the absence of "kickbacks" from the stolen goods.

Representatives of the “Ministry of Education and Science of the LNR” are planning to check the pace of implementation of educational methods and standards of the Russian Federation in educational institutions in the occupied territory of the Lugansk region in the near future. In addition, there was given an unspoken instruction about the withdrawal of publications in the Ukrainian language from the library funds of educational institutions, with a view to reducing the influence of Ukrainian culture on children and young people of the "LNR".

Recently, some leaders of the "DNR" of the middle rank are trying to obtain Russian citizenship by any means. At the moment, this "service" costs from 4 thousand US dollars.

IR summary: Russian PMCs have activated the recruiting set from the number of Ukrainian citizens

07.04.2018 - 11:05

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

Russian occupation forces in the Donbas continue to disrupt agreements of the "Easter truce", firing at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas near the line of delimitation, including using heavy weapons (120-mm mortars). At the same time, the enemy continues regrouping its forces and assets in a number of sectors of the front.

Thus, the occupiers continue to strengthen their positions to the south of Styla. In the area of height 206.9, there is an appearance of up to 5 units of new BMP-1; the same number of BMP-1 is marked south of the Belaya Kamenka. The equipment is dug and disguised. 1 MT-LB and 2 trucks Ural with a manpower were recorded In the Novolaspa area at the west of this settlement, and ZU-23-2 AD system in the disguised position.

South of Mospino - 10 tanks of T-72 type and 4 trucks Ural on the march to the south.

Southeast of Lugansk, towards Khryashchevatoe, there was a column of tanks and armored vehicles - 8 tanks of the T-64 and T-72 type, up to 10 combat armored vehicles (BMP-1/2 and MT-LB), army trucks such as Ural and Kamaz, Command and Control vehicle and a mobile repair shop truck.

According to the IR, Russian private military companies (PMCs), which are operating in the Donbass region, were tasked by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to intensify sabotage operations in the territories controlled by Ukraine along the demarcation line, and to ensure the increase the number of local residents (holders of Ukrainian citizenship) in their ranks. Also, work is being carried out to attract persons to the ranks of illegal armed formations of the "DNR" and "LNR" who are fluent in the Ukrainian language, for the purpose of further reporting "on the presence of Ukrainians on both sides of the conflict" through the Western media, which, according to the plans of the Russian General Staff, should be confirmed by "the fact of a civil war in Ukraine".

The effect of the exploding bomb caused among militants and Russian mercenaries of the "1st Army Corps DNR" published video about the organization of defense by the invaders in the second line of defense at the site of the DAP by ex-rebel leader Khodakovsky in the framework of "political struggle" with Zakharchenko. More precisely, it is about its total absence of defense in the second line and practically "revolving door" on the section between Spartak, Putilovka and the north-western suburbs of Donetsk. The commanders of a number of units of the occupation forces appealed to the MGB of the DNR and the curators from the FSB of the Russian Federation, demanding that they have to"assess" the actions of Khodakovsky.

The statement of the leader of the "LNR" Pasechnik about "lifting the border with the DNR" and thus creating the prerequisites for the "unification" of the two occupation zones in the Donbass ("LNR" - "DNR") into one did not cause special enthusiasm among the officials, "Law enforcement officers", representatives of "special services" and representatives of business in both zones of occupation. The given reaction is caused by that present presence of "border" between “DNR” and “LNR” has created conditions for prosperity of contraband schemes in which representatives of both zones have the share. In addition, they are afraid that in the event of unification all the corruption schemes of business will pass under the control of representatives of the "DNR".

Russian CJSC Vneshtorgservis, which controls the "nationalized" enterprises in “DNR” and “LNR”, owes 946.3 million rubles for the coal products to the DNR coal companies. As a result, there is a shortage of funds for the wages of miners in the DNR, the purchase of equipment and materials for coal mining, payment for transport and coal-processing services, etc., has been thwarted. In this connection, the "Ministry of Coal and Energy of the DNR" decided to stop supplying coking coal to CJSC Vneshtorgservis until the redemption of the existing debt.

A complicated situation arose with the medical care of the population in the "DNR", connected with the departure of a significant number of qualified specialists in the medical sphere who do not want to work for a meager salary. As a result, no more than 40-50% of qualified medical specialists are left in most medical institutions in the territory controlled by DNR at the moment. Mostly, doctors of a narrow specialization (surgeons, traumatologists) leave to the Russia or the territory controlled by Ukraine, and it is caused a significant burden on this category of specialists. In DNR, apart from rendering medical assistance to civil patients, they are obliged to help militants and Russian mercenaries from the "1st Army Corps DNR”.

Today, on April 12, InformNapalm volunteer intelligence community presents its interactive database, mapping Russian aggression against Ukraine as well as Georgia and Syria. The searchable web site titled Russian Aggression is the summary of the findings collected by our volunteers over four years. More than 1700 OSINT investigations performed by InformNapalm have been systematized and divided into two groups: Russian weaponry found in Donbas, and the units of the Russian army taking part in the aggression against Ukraine and Syria, as well as in the occupation of Georgia.

The body of this database deals with the facts of the large-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine.

More than 1300 Russian servicemen from 89 units of the Russian army and other law enforcement and security of Russia, as well as 44 types of Russian weapons and equipment, which could not have been captured in combat, and were secretly brought to Donbas.

Images of the patches of military units and photos of equipment are clickable links to the texts of our investigations.

The Russian Aggression database will be useful to journalists and experts who are studying Russia’s participation in the armed conflicts and hybrid wars. At the moment, the database is available in Ukrainian, English, Bulgarian and Russian.

InformNapalm Volunteers call on the editors of web sites and mass media outlets to write about the appearance of this database, put up a text or banner link to one of its language versions, share the news with friends and connections in social networks. We believe that this piece of systemic investigative data collected by our community will be of value not only to journalists and experts.

IR summary: the occupiers sharply increased the use of heavy weapons in the Donbas
13.04.2018 - 11:45

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

Despite the agreements reached on the ceasefire (the so-called "Easter truce"), the intensity of fire strikes against positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine remained high in the period from 3 to 11 April this year. The enemy was most intensively shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Valuiskoe, Troitskoe, Novoluganskoe, Luganskoye, Peski, Opytnoe, Butovka mine, Lebedinskoe, Vodyanoe and Shirokino.

Over the past 24 hours, the use of heavy weapons by invaders has been recorded:

- tanks - to the south and north of Avdeevka, in the DAP area (Peski, Vodyanoe). In this case, the enemy armored group of 3 vehicles is operating from the area of Spartak and from the area south of the DAP;

- another armored group operates in the area of the Krutaya Balka. The pair of T-72 tanks repeatedly opened fire on the stronghold points of AFU.

The use of tanks is carried out in pairs under the cover of a dense machine-gun fire to make it more difficult for Ukrainian troops to use anti-tank weapons. The fire is conducted from a pre-equipped and selected position. After a series of 2-3 (sometimes 3-4) shots, the tanks change position. It is noted that the invaders use individual infantry fighting vehicles together with tanks (for example, in the area of Peski and the Butovka mine).

The use of 120-mm mortars by the occupiers is sharply increased. If over the past week period it was the use of single, "wandering" mortars, now the enemy uses it in platoon and company size (3-4 units, less often up to 5-6). The combined use of 82-mm and 120-mm mortars is continued to take place.

Also, the enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance of the military formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 27 reconnaissance flights of the UAV of the RF Armed Forces were recorded in the period from 2 to 10 April this year, including 7 flights of the Orlan-10 UAV, which entered into the operational-tactical depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense. At the same time, the enemy focused on the opening of the defensive system, as well as the identification of changes in the combat order of the AFU. The activation of the activity of enemy's subversive reconnaissance groups and EW maneuvering groups along the entire contact line is noted.

Since April 9 this year, a comprehensive check for the winter period of training is conducted in units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupying forces. In addition, the Russian occupation command planned to conduct brigade exercises with the participation of artillery units and UAVs at the military training ground "Uzhniy". In the framework of mobilization training with reservists, the occupiers continue to intensively conduct classes on fire and tactical and special training at military training grounds "Udarniy" and "Primorskiy".

In the period from 2 to 10 April this year, confirmed losses of Russian occupation forces in the Donbass amounted 5 people:

1st Army Corps – 9th separate assault mechanized regiment of naval infantry (Novoazovsk) - 2 servicemen, 3rd separate mechanized brigade (Gorlovka) - 2 servicemen;

2nd Army Corps – 7th separate mechanized brigade (Bryanka) - 1 serviceman.

To ensure the activities of units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces, about 1,500 tons of petroleum products were delivered to the railway station Rovenky and railway station Krasnaya Mogila from the territory of Russia in the period from 2 to 10 April this year.

The invaders are actively installing mine-blasting fences between Yelenovka and the Ring Road (area of Donetsk), and also to the south towards Dokuchaevsk. The work is conducted secretly. The same works were noted to the south of Styla and in the area of Petrovskiy. The anti-tank mines predominate (the command of the Russian occupation forces clearly fears some hypothetical breakthrough of the AFU south of Donetsk).

In the Mariupol direction, groups of tanks of 3-4 units are marked in the first line of defense of the 9th separate mechanized regiment, they are masked in populated areas and on the outskirts. Thus, 4 tanks and 2 MT-LBs were sighted and disguised in the private sector in the area of Verkhneshirokovskoe, and 3 units of combat armored vehicles (disguised) in the beams to the south of Azov.

According to the information of the IR, a meeting between Colonel-General Sergei Zakharkin, Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation National Guard Forces (Rosgvardiya) and Colonel Dmitry Sukhanov, the head of the department of the National Guard Forces, with the head of the sector for cooperation with Rosgvardia and the head of "military" synod department of the Russian Orthodox Church Roman Bogdasarov took place at the end of last month. During this meeting, the issue of increasing the number of military priests in the troops of the "Rosgvardia" was discussed. In addition, Colonel-General S. Zakharkin informed the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church that Rosgvardia allocated considerable financial resources for the construction of mobile prayer houses, which are planned to be deployed in the western regions of the Russian Federation at the locations of Rosgvardia's units. Also, Colonel-General S. Zakharkin brought to the attention of Bishop R. Bogdasarov that large-scale military exercises of Rosgvardia are planned in the territory of the Rostov region in May of this year and emphasized the attention of the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church that military priests already (necessarily) have to take part in these exercises. Thus, taking into account the above, as well as earlier information provided by the IR, it does not exclude provocative military actions by Russia in the East of Ukraine in the end of spring - in the beginning of this summer.

According to the information of the IR, the Russian side has become very active in all areas in the issue of the release of the Nord trawler. In Ukraine, the issue is dealt by lawyers, who are directly supervised by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the occupation authorities of the Crimea Mikhaylichenko. Also, Russians are planning to step up assistance in resolving this issue through the European Court of Human Rights and the Maritime Tribunal in The Hague in the near future, for which the “agents” of the Russian special services in Strasbourg and The Hague will be used.

Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works (located in the territory controlled by the LNR), whose work depends on the supply of raw materials from the DNR, may suspend work in the near future in connection with the refusal of the DNR coal companies to supply coal for coking until pay off existing debts of CJSC Vneshtorgservis (it carries out" external management "of most enterprises in the occupied territory).

IR summary: the transfer of arms to Lugansk is explained by "preparation for the parade" in "LNR"
16.04.2018 - 11:45

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

Over the past weekend (14-15.04.2018), the occupiers confidently kept the "index" of 50+ shelling and armed provocations during the day. In this case, the enemy actively uses 120-mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns and BMP-1/2, occasionally - 122-mm artillery (mostly in the dark). Also were used tanks (1-2 vehicles from pre-prepared and disguised positions).

Formation of invaders usually use heavy weapons "in the complex" with other weapons of destruction. They try to inflict fire damage not only on the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which are defending in the first line, but also on targets in the tactical rear of the Ukrainian troops, including settlements. At the same time, the occupiers began to use again the scheme - the opening of fire from the positions near the social infrastructure and residential quarters, and then a rapid retreat into the depths of the battle formations.

There was a significant fire activity of occupying formations in seaside direction (from Shirokino to Pavlopol, Pishchevik), near Dokuchaevsk (repeated attacks of BMP and machine guns, and occasionally 82 mm mortars), Maryinka area and outskirts of Donetsk (broad spectrum firing assets), northwest suburbs of Donetsk - from Peski to Verkhnetoretskoye (except for infantry weapons, occasionally tanks, 122 mm artillery, AD systems and BMPs), vicinity of Gorlovka and Svetlodarsk arc (the same except tanks ), areas of “Pervomayka” and "Bahmutka" (predominantly infantry weapons and 82 mm mortars, episodically - 120mm mortars), Vesologorovskoe - small arms, sometimes with the activation AGSs and SPGs.

Simultaneously with the activation of shelling, it is noticeable that the enemy conducts various types of reconnaissance, including the use of UAV and other technical assets. More often militants appear in the neutral zone, mainly for reconnaissance (surveillance), but also for sudden shelling of the front edge of the AFU, sniper fire, hidden mines (installation of mine explosive obstacles).

At the same time, tank units were activated in both "Army Corps" of the occupation forces in the Donbass. There is at least a tank battalion on the T-72 at the training ground in the area of Manuilovka, in the area of the Lutuginskie training ground (Kruglik area) - up to 15 tanks of the T-72 type and at least 6 tanks of the T-64 type.

A concentration of military equipment was recorded on the outskirts of Lugansk (south-east). The official version of the "2nd Army Corps LNR" command is due to "preparation for the Victory Day parade on 9 of May".

Active transfers are marked through Thorez-Shakhtarsk to Donetsk. Up to 30 or more vehicles of occupants per day is fixed. Often, armored vehicles are fixed in the columns with motor vehicles. For example, the transfer of 2 BMP-1 and 1 MT-LB was noted yesterday, a column of 5 BTR-70/80 and 4 trucks Ural was fixed in the evening.

Between Mariivka and Berezovskoe, the invaders continue active works to equip the defense area of the battalion. The use of civil engineering equipment (bulldozer, excavator and several dump trucks) was recorded. The work is being carried out actively.

From the territory of the Russian Federation, a column of 10 long-gauge fuel tankers followed through Dolzhansky to Khrustalny. This fuel batch is intended for the "1st Army Corps DNR". They were civilian vehicles, but the convoy was escorted by 2 buses with armed mercenaries.

Cases of tuberculosis were recorded immediately in several brigades of the "1stArmy Corps DNR". In a number of cases, we are talking about an open form. The command of the "1st Army Corps DNR" set a task to conduct a full check of all militants and Russian mercenaries in all units and subunits for tuberculosis.

The disconnection of television and radio broadcasting together with the disappearance of Internet in some areas in Donetsk caused extremely negative resonance among both militants and the civilian population. A widespread version in the form of rumors - Putin "gives up" Donetsk / "DNR", and in order to avoid a negative reaction of local civilians and militants, they were "cut off from the world".

Up to 20 tons of ammonia compounds and other hazardous chemicals the invaders were taken to "storage" in the Shakhtarsk District ("DNR"). The local population began to massively resent such actions of the invaders. The latter, in turn, reassure local residents by the thesis of "temporary storage".

The so-called “parliament of the DNR" plans to vote and adopt a new "law of the DNR" "On compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of vehicles”. The development of this bill is entrusted to the profile committee of the People's Council of the "DNR" by personally A. Zakharchenko. According to IR, this law will largely duplicate the Russian federal law of 2002 with the same name. Also among the points of the future law - the imposition of administrative responsibility with subsequent penalties in favor of the budget of the "DNR", the deprivation of driving licenses and the withdrawal of vehicles. What is noteworthy, the control over the development of this initiative is entrusted to the right hand of the "head of the DNR", the curator of the economic block "DNR" - Alexander Timofeev ("Tashkent").

IR summary: in the "1st AK DNR" already "found evidences" that AFU have American "Javelins" on the front line
19.04.2018 - 11:56
Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The enemy does not stop conducting fire strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Since yesterday, invaders started to use 152 mm artillery. Over the last week period, units of the 1stand 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces carried out more than 320 fire raids (over the past week period - about 260) from 122mm and 152mm artillery systems, 82/120mm mortars, 122mm portable rocket launchers "Grad-P", infantry fighting vehicles and tanks. The enemy was most intensely fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements Novoaleksandrovka, Troitskoe, Luganskoye, Zaitsevo, Pavlopol, Peski, Kamenka, Opytnoe, Avdeevka, Butovka mine, Novotroitskoye, Lebedinskoe, Talakovka, Berdyanskoye, Vodyanoe and Shirokino.

For the last day:

- The occupiers repeatedly opened a massive fire from 152 mm cannon artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Zaitsevo-Zhovanka-Mayorsk area from positions south-west of Bayrak (Gorlovka region). Strikes were also conducted to the area of private residential buildings. It is characteristic that the enemy tried to correct artillery fire;

- The use of 120-mm mortars is fixed practically in all areas of the ATO zone - except for Pervomayka, Bakhmutka, the area of Schastye-Stanitsa Luganskaya, where the enemy actively uses automatic small arms, heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, occasionally using also 82 mm mortars and arms of BMP-1/2;

- 122-mm cannon artillery is used by the occupants from the area of Putilovka (2-3 units of 122 mm guns are used in combination with 82 mm mortars at the advanced positions of the AFU in the area of DAP, Peski and Vodyanoe), as well as in the seaside direction (a subdivision of 3-4 units of 122-mm guns opened fire on the advanced positions of the AFU in the Lomakino, Talakovka, Gnutovo districts);

- The use of combat armored vehicles, ZU-23-2 AD systems and UAV for reconnaissance, as well as groups of snipers by invaders is fixed in many sectors of the front line.

The enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance of the military formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 21 reconnaissance flight UAV of the RF Armed Forces is recorded in the period from 11 to 16 April this year, including 5 flights of the Orlan-10 UAV, which entered the operational-tactical depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense. At the same time, the enemy focused on the opening of the control system, as well as the identification of changes in the combat order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A comprehensive inspection for the winter period of training continues in units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces (started on April 9 this year).

Units and subunits of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps are intensively conduct classes on weapons training, tactical and special training and with the crews of combat vehicles at military training grounds "Yuzhniy", "Tsentralniy", "Slavniy", "Udarniy" and "Primorsky".

With the purpose of compulsory recruitment of units and subunits of the 1st and 2ndArmy Corps, the Russian occupation command in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions began to refine the lists of the available mobilization resource. To this end, the occupation command planned to conduct a number of command and staff mobilization exercises with the involvement of civil enterprises and organizations. Within the framework of these events, military reception centers have deployed at Vostochniy, Tsentralniy and Primorskiy training grounds, and training sessions have been planned the weapons, tactical and special training for the reservists.

For the purpose of monitoring the conduct of mobilization exercises, as well as checking the readiness of weapons and military equipment for the summer period of operation, the integrated commission of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation started to work in the 1st and 2nd Army Corps.

Over the past 24 hours, 4 platforms with wheeled combat armored vehicles, as well as 2 fuel tanks with fuel and lubricants, have arrived at the railway station Ilovaysk. Attention was also attracted by the arrival of the train car with the stacks of boxes. The train car was taken under reinforced protection, the content of the boxes is not known yet.

A wide resonance in the "LNR" was given to the so-called "shelling of parade equipment" on the southeastern outskirts of Lugansk (the region of the aviation and technical museum), which in reality became the result of detonation of ammunition in one of the vehicles in the convoy. The leadership of the "LNR" instructed the controlled media to interpret the incident in such a way that "everyone was warned about preparations for the parade," but the AFU allegedly shelled from 152 mm artillery, using "OSCE snapshots" to conduct fire. At the same time, it is ordered to ignore the fact that either the OSCE or the "military intelligence" of the invaders themselves not fixed any movements of the artillery units of the AFU near the front line.

The Intel department of the 1st Army Corps issued a reconnaissance report on "the arrival of NATO servicemen in the so-called ATO zone for organizing and carrying out provocative bombardments of the positions of the DNR". Immediately after this, the headquarters of the 3rd separate mechanized brigade and the 9th separate mechanized regiment "reported" about the use by Ukrainian troops of some unidentified "foreign guided missiles" (implied by the ATGM with a hint of "Javelins") to the command of the 1st Army Corps. Obviously, the commanders of the units promptly caught the intention of the command of the invaders, focusing on "reconnaissance report".

There are persistent rumors among the residents of the Petrovsk district of Donetsk and the militants in the units occupying positions in the Marinka area and along the southwestern outskirts of Donetsk that "the AFU have collected a huge number of tanks and another" armor" near Marinka and will make a breakthrough soon ". Quite possibly, the impetus for such rumors was the temporary closure of the local CP and harsh measures to protect the rear, undertaken by Ukrainian troops in this area.

In turn, the invaders decided to carefully monitor the movement of private vehicles in the area Starobeshevo - Amvrosievka - Ilovaysk. The events are conducted under the control of the "military counterintelligence" of the invaders, trying to prevent the leakage of information about the passage of columns of military equipment of the occupation troops in this area.

In order to increase the revenues to the budget of the "LNR" due to the "nationalization" of markets that are private property of entrepreneurs, the leadership of the "republic" plans to create a corresponding "state unitary enterprise" in the near future by analogy with the practice of the Russian Federation. This enterprise will deal with the activities of markets located on the territory of the Luhansk region, which is not under control of the Ukrainian authorities, and provide a number of paid services.

The government working group "Republic of Crimea" on the development of cooperation with the People's Republic of China (PR China), reached preliminary agreements with the state and non-governmental organizations of China on the participation of their representatives in the Yalta International Economic Forum (April 19-21), the international forum "Tourist and Cultural Potential of the Republic of Crimea" (tentatively September of this year), as well as the opening of information centers of the occupied Crimea in the PR China.

IR summary: the leadership of "LDNR" received instructions from the Russian Federation to take up the confrontation against the "Ukrainian occupation"

20.04.2018 - 12:20

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The occupiers continue to shell the positions of the AFU and populated areas near the demarcation line. The use of heavy weapons by the enemy is fixed, mainly 120-mm mortars, and a case of fire from 122-mm barrel artillery also recorded (recorded east of Lebedinskoe) on the seaside, where the invaders were inflicted short fire raids by the assets of a 3-gun battery.

In the area of Spartak (Donetsk), the invaders demonstrated a strange tactic of using 120-mm mortars. In particular, the enemy repeatedly opened fire from 3 units of 120-mm mortars at the advanced positions of the AFU in the area of DAP, Opytnoe and Butovka mines, while using also heavy machine guns and heavy grenade launchers to "increase the effect," which in itself looks illiterate from a tactical point of view. It is understandable that in the case of the opening of a fire from heavy (120-mm) mortars the personnel of the advanced Ukrainian units will hide in shelters, leaving only observers to monitor the enemy. Accordingly, the "effect" from the use of machine guns and machine grenade launchers, used simultaneously with heavy mortars, will be zero. Therefore, it is possible that in this case, the invaders are conducting a "break-in" of newly arrived Russian mercenaries who do not have combat experience.

The redeployment of a pair of 122-mm self-propelled guns of the type 2C1 "Carnation" of the invaders, as well as motor vehicles with ammunition, was fixed between Zernovoe and Starobeshevo. The transfer was conducted at dusk to the southern direction. Obviously, we are talking about a fire group from the category of "wandering guns".

In the area of Oboznoe and Christovo, the invaders equip several new platoon stronghold points. Armored vehicles (mainly BMP-1 and MT-LB) are disguised on the outskirts of settlements in private households now.

In the area of Donetsk (the so-called Putilovka forest district), at least 4 tanks of invaders, disguised in positions, are fixed. These tanks are used for sudden shelling of the AFU positions in the area of the Butovka mine and the DAP. Quite possibly, that the same group that was previously noted to the north of Kashtanovoe.

In the area of Golmovskoe, the invaders carry out a hidden installation of mine-blasting obstacles (mining) of some important areas in tactical means. In general, anti-tank mines are used, but anti-personnel mines are also noted. Some local militants, in violation of the order on concealment of actions, warn the local population about the inadmissibility of visiting the landings south of the railway station Dolomit.

The occupiers, after firing on the working shift of the Donetsk Filtration Station, decided to arrange a provocative show from this. Announced the "conservation" of the station, they brought journalists from the controlled media to this site and arranged something like "indicative evacuation". The main goal of the actions of the occupiers is to deprive Avdeevka of water, and blackmail Ukraine at the same time. Simultaneously during the past day, an informational action was carried out to spread "evidence" with the help of some "eyewitnesses" in social networks that allegedly "AFU occupied the territory of the DFS" after firing the territory of the station as a "preliminary exercise of the AFU before this action".

In the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya, as one might suppose, the invaders disrupted the disengagement of the parties. The main method of disrupting the agreements from the part of the enemy is the opening of a fire from the AGS and machine guns at the AFU's advanced stronghold points. The main positions are a mountain with a monument to Prince Igor. In this case, the occupiers were not embarrassed by the presence of OSCE observers. The provocations were carried out not only at night, but during the day.

The activation of the work of mobile groups of electronic warfare from the composition of the units of RF armed forces in the occupied territories is noted. In particular, these groups have the task of jamming mobile communications (and other frequencies) in areas where large quantities of equipment and armaments are being transferred, as well as in areas adjacent to areas of large "exercises" of occupation groups. Similar activity of the EW is observed in the territories controlled by both the “DNR” and “LNR”.

A complicated situation with diesel fuel has developed in "LDNR" before the sowing campaign. It is possible to buy it practically only at very inflated, speculative prices (in particular, you can buy Russian diesel fuel in “DNR” for such sky-high prices). In this situation, Russian advisers especially warned the leadership of “DNR” and “LNR” about strict liability in case of attempts to use fuel from the stocks of the “1stArmy Corps DNR” and the “2nd Army Corps LNR” for civilian purposes.

As of the beginning of April this year, wage arrears to "state employees of the DNR", as well as other employees of the "budgetary sphere of the DNR", is more than 10.5 million rubles. According to the occupation administration, only in January-March this indicator grew by 6.5% in "DNR". This situation is caused by the lack of the necessary funds in the "budget of the DNR", while the Russian side does not want to transfer money to the occupation administrations of “LDNR”.

* * *

The “DNR and LNR leadership” received instructions from the RF Presidential Administration to develop and adopt "laws" under the working title "On Combating against the Ukrainian Occupation". The main "recommended" topics of the document:

- persons in military uniform with signs of distinction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other armed formations of Ukraine are automatically recognized as "war criminals", and their liquidation does not entail any "legal consequences";

- Ukrainian politicians and the top leadership of Ukraine are recognized as "leaders of the occupation regime" and is subject of the "prosecution";

- civil servants, budget workers and representatives of the Ukrainian media are "accomplices of the occupation regime", who also fall under the "prosecution".

This document can be used against all persons who receive a salary or other profit in the territory under the control of the Ukrainian authorities, including entrepreneurs who pay taxes to the state budget of Ukraine.

An exception is planned only for people who voluntarily agree to cooperate with "security services, law enforcement agencies and other state structures of DNR and LNR".

Obviously, Russian occupiers try to intimidate large sections of the population in unoccupied territories in this way, and first of all put pressure on Ukrainian civil servants working in civil-military administrations of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

IR summary: the occupational command awaits the arrival of units of two airborne brigades from the Russian Federation
27.04.2018 - 11:55

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

In the last week period, the enemy did not cease to conduct fire strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the territory controlled by Ukraine. The most intense fire strikes were inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the populated areas Popasnaya, Krymskoe, Katerinovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Troitskoe, Luganskoye, Zaitsevo, Novgorodskoe, Novoselovka, Peski, Mikhailovka, Nevelskoye, Opytnoe, Avdeevka, Butovka mine, Vodyanoe, Nikolaevka Novotroitskoe, Talakovka, Gnutovo, Lebedinskoe and Shirokino.

Also, the enemy continued to conduct active reconnaissance of the combat orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About 20 reconnaissance flights of the Russian Armed Forces UAVs were recorded in the week-long period, including 6 flights of the UAV Orlan-10, which entered into the operational-tactical depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense. At the same time, the enemy focused on the opening of the control system, as well as the identification of changes in the combat order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A comprehensive inspection for the winter period of training (started on April 9 this year) continues in units and subunits of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces”, within the framework of which control exercises conducted on arms, tactical and special training at the military ranges "Yuzhniy", "Tsentralniy", "Slavniy", "Udarniy", "Peredovoy" and " Primorsky ". In addition, the Russian occupation command conducts command and staff exercises with the command and control departments of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational grouping of the Russian occupation forces”, demonstration brigade exercises at the training ground “Yuzhniy”, as well as control artillery firing at the training range “Peredovoy” from 23 to 29 April this year. At the "Udarniy" training ground, the second stage of the training of reservists continues, as well as training on arms, tactical and special training with them.

To ensure the terrorist activity of units of “1st and 2nd Army Corps of the operational group of Russian occupation forces”, about 1,200 tons of fuels were delivered to the railway station Rovenky from the territory of Russia in a week-long period. At the same time, occupiers accumulate rolling stock at the railway station Krasnaya Mogila, about 55 rail tank cars of various capacities and about 40 wagons and platforms are noted. The reason for the accumulation of a mobile railroad train is currently unknown.

According to the IR information, the units of the 45th Separate Special Forces Brigade of the RF Armed Forces will be sent to the territory of the “DNR” and “LNR” (the place of permanent deployment is Kubinka, Odintsovo District, Moscow Region, the Brigade Commander- Colonel Pankov Vadim Ivanovich) and the 11thseparate Airborne brigade of the RF Armed Forces (the place of permanent deployment - Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia, the commander of the brigade - the Colonel Evdokimov Ruslan Leontievich) in the near future.

The personnel of these separate units from the above mentioned brigades will consist of the most professional and trained servicemen with significant experience in combat operations, namely, at least two missions to the war zone. The main task of these separate units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is to provoke the units of Ukrainian Armed Forces for offensive actions and advances deep into the territory of the “LNR” by any possible means with the aim of further destroying the number of Ukrainian servicemen by Russian occupation forces and conducting a quick counterattack as a response to the "aggressive actions of the Ukrainian side" taking control of additional areas of the Lugansk region.

Currently, measures are being taken to prepare the appropriate infrastructure for the deployment of these units from the 45th Special Forces brigade and the 11thAirborne brigade of the RF Armed Forces to the territory of the so-called "LNR". Also, attention should be paid to the fact that the main goal set in Moscow during this complex operation is not to create a "picture" for Russian propaganda, but to maximally lower the moral spirit of Ukrainian servicemen by the simultaneous destruction of a large number of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel , which should lead to a significant increase in mistrust to the highest military and political leadership of Ukraine, as well as the rapid breakthrough of the Russian occupation forces deep into the territory of Lugansk region controlled by Ukraine with further capture of new positions.

The recruitment of recruits for "service" (including drivers) in "100th separate mechanized brigade of the 1st Army Corps DNR" is continuing. The recruitment passes without a medical examination. In addition, recruitment in "3rd separate battalion of Special Forces "Kupol" of 1st Army Corps DNR" was announced. It is noted that, due to a significant lack of willingness to participate in the activities of the illegal armed formations, the militants who were previously fired for disciplinary offenses, in particular the AWOL, drunkenness, drug addiction and the some like of that, also have a potential opportunity to get a job. At the same time, information was received about the unsatisfactory moral and psychological climate in the units of the "1st separate mechanized brigade" of the occupation troops, which leads to massive AWOL of the brigade personnel and significantly affects the combat readiness of the mentioned IAF. In particular, 17 militants left the place of deployment and disappeared in an unknown direction since the beginning of the drills (since 27.03.2013) on the range near the Svobodnoye village in Telmanovskoe region, to participate in which were involved personnel of this brigade and so-called "reservists". At present time, measures are being taken to search for and detain deserters.

In continuation of the ecclesiastical theme and activities of the UOC-MP in the territory of Ukraine, the IR group got information that the Metropolitan of Zaporozhye and Melitopol Luka (in the world Kovalenko Andrey), who propagandizes the idea of the so-called "child-rites" in the churches of the UOC-MP children who underwent this ceremony in the temples of other Ukrainian churches of Orthodox faiths, primarily the UOC-KP, on an ongoing basis travels to Russia and to the territory of the “DNR”. During these trips, Metropolitan Luke meets with clergymen of the Moscow Patriarchate and with various citizens of the Russian Federation, while the latter constantly receives significant financial resources for unknown purposes.

In the occupied territory of the Donetsk region, there is a gradual decline in the financing of utilities, with a reduction in the working week for enterprise employees and a decrease in the average wage to 5671 rubles. "State Enterprise "Luganskgaz" sent an account for the debt about 750 thousand rubles to the “Ministry of Health of the LNR” (about 250 thousand rubles of which are in arrears only to hospitals in Lugansk), and also warned of stop of work the heating stations that are subordinated to the above-mentioned "ministry" in the next season, until the debts for the energy resources are fully repaid.

The Youth Media Forum of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation "Media Crimea" is planned in the occupied territory of Crimea From 11 to 13 May this year. The event is organized by the “Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea”. Young workers of the media resources of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation, the so-called “LNR/DNR" and other pseudo-state entities are involved in it. The program of the event provides conducting classes in the following areas: modern journalism, photo-video shooting, blogging, development of modern media. The themes include: "attracting young people to work with the media," "development of the international and interregional youth cooperation", "support and interaction with social movements and organizations", "forming a Russian identity, the unity of the Russian nation", "patriotic education of youth" and etc.

IR Summary: “MGB DNR” is concerned over the actions of the Ukrainian underground in Donbass
14.05.2018 - 12:18

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

Russian occupants in the Donbas continue to shell the positions of the AFU and populated areas near the line of demarcation. In the course of shelling and armed provocations, the enemy actively uses automatic small arms, machine-guns and hand grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, standard weapons of the BMS, anti-aircraft guns and heavy weapons - 122-mm cannon artillery, tanks (125-mm tank guns), 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. During the last weekend (12-13.05.2018), about 30 cases of invaders' use of heavy weapons were recorded, practically along the whole front line.

In particular:

- In the area of "Bakhmut road" - active shelling with the use of 120-mm mortars from the northeastern suburbs of Dachnoye and Sentyanovka in the form of short fire raids on the forward stronghold points of the Joint Forces and tactical communications in the rear;

- In the area east of Troitskoe (the left flank of the Svetlodarskaya arc) - a random fire of 120 mm and 82 mm mortars with a wide spread (including Troitskoe);

- The north-western suburbs of Donetsk from Peski and Opytnoe to the site southeast of Kamenka and the road from Kamenka to Verkhnetoretskoye - regular fire strikes. Alternately - mortars of both calibers, short raids from cannon artillery (122-mm). In particular, 2-3 "wandering" artillery groups of occupants are operating from Spartak to Betmanovo (2-3 guns of 122 mm self-propelled guns of type 2C1 "Gvozdika" and D-30/30A);

- Strikes from 120-mm mortars were also recorded in the seaside direction, south of the Mariupol-Telmanovo route (however not intensive as in the vicinity of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Svetlodarskaya arc). There were occasional fire strikes east of Lomakino and on the site from Lebedinskoe to Shirokino. There are several mortar squads of the invaders operating on the section between Pikuzy and Sakhanka;

- a fire from the regular 125-mm tank guns was fixed in the area north of the "Butovka mine", south of the Avdeevka industrial zone ("wandering armored group"), a number of shots (from different positions) was recorded on the section from Krutaya Balka to Vasilievka. In this case, the invaders secretly use actively maneuvering single tanks in this area, taking advantage of the abundance of industrial buildings and crossed terrain.

- Also, at least 5 combat clashes were recorded, mainly in the area of "Bakhmut road" and the Svetlodarskaya arc during the weekend. Basically, it is the actions of the sabotage-reconnaissance groups and small infantry groups of the enemy on the neutral zone for the purpose of sudden shelling and sabotage or (more rarely) the conduct of covert surveillance and mining.

Redeployments of troops and assets of the occupation forces:

- Through Torez and Shakhtarsk - active movement of cargo transport, convoys of 5-6 trucks, sometimes up to 10 vehicles within the last 3 days. The movement prevails in the direction of Donetsk. At least 3 groups of fuel tankers and one group of new trucks Kamaz were marked (the column was consisted of 9 trucks);

- In the area of Dokuchaevsk (Old Colony, dumps at the Central Career), equipment of new strong points and camouflaged positions for additional fire weapons such as mortars, AD guns or heavy grenade launchers by occupiers is marked. In addition, there is an improvement in the already equipped positions and stronghold points is fixed (the trenches are deepened, additional dugouts and OPs are being equipped). Occasional attraction of civil engineering equipment was noted;

- Between Shimshinovka and Bugaevka, there was a unit of the occupants on the march (up to 20 armored vehicles - mostly BMP-1/2, 4 MT-LB, 5 T-64 tanks, and a battery of the AD systems Osa). According to preliminary data, that is the grouping of the occupation forces concentrated in the Debaltsevo district. It is not excluded that in the context of the redeployment of these enemy assets, it should be expected another exacerbation in the Svetlodarskaya arc region;

- Up to 30 freight trains pass through the railway station of Gukovo per day, most of it (up to 20) - from Russia to the Donbass (the rest - in the opposite direction). In their composition, wagons with ammunition and other items of logistic, as well as platforms with armored vehicles (in both directions) are fixed.

The command of the 1st Army Corps demanded immediately cease the practice of "conflicts and clarification of relations" between "attached" officers of the RF Armed Forces and local militants from the commanders of the 1st and 3rd separate mechanized brigades, which acquires "very acute forms". In particular, local militants accuse Russians of unwillingness to "build an army and fight with AFU", as well as in mass cases of theft by Russian servicemen of material and technical means and looting among civilians.

After the celebration of the Victory Day and the "foundation of the LDNR", the formations of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps came under wave of inspections due to a number of incidents on the grounds of gross violations of military discipline and the commission of military offenses. For example, during the "celebrations" two invaders shot the chest owner in the so-called "Wellness Complex Vodoley" (both are searched by local police and MGB). And, in the 3rd separate mechanized brigade the command of the Corps for several days is trying to establish the reasons for the "unauthorized abandonment of positions" near the village of Chigiri (as assured in the headquarters of 1st Army Corps, the militants were in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication due to which they were incapacitated and simply left positions).

Curators from the Military Intelligence of the RF Armed Forces in both occupation Corps in the Donbass have set the task of intensifying reconnaissance activities at key railway stations in the regions of Ukraine adjacent to the JFO zone (we are talking about the Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkov regions). The main task is the fixation of military transportations and the establishment of the beginning of mass redeployment of military equipment and armament of AFU to the zone of JFO. The task is set in the context of fears of a "large-scale offensive by the AFU", which the occupying command expects after reformatting the ATO in the JFO.

At the same time, “MGB DNR” and “MGB LNR” noted again the "appearance of pro-Ukrainian leaflets and the activation of the Ukrainian underground" in Donetsk, Lugansk and a number of other settlements in the occupied territory. At the same time, "MGB DNR analysts" note the sharply changed tone and content of these "provocative materials", which allegedly became "more aggressive and threatening, aimed at intimidation" unlike previous ones, which appealed to common sense and contained mainly appeals and proclamations.

"DNR Police" seized two batches of new uniforms (respectively, 300 and 500 sets), which 2 local entrepreneurs tried to sell in the markets of Gorlovka and Donetsk. This incident occurred amid of growing dissatisfaction of militants and Russian mercenaries of shortage of clothing in 1st Army Corps. A similar story with the sale of stolen 4 tons of diesel fuel of "army origin" was fixed in Lugansk, where "sellers" left a petrol tanker on one of the outskirts of the city during their pursuit by "law enforcement officers of the LNR".

Tomorrow, on May 15, 2013, a meeting of the so called "The integration committee" Russia-Donbass" is planned in Donetsk. The meeting will be held with the participation of Russian civil servants from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The theme of the meeting is the discussion of "problematic issues of the integration of the DNR/LNR into the Russian Federation".

A low salary rate is observed in the occupied regions of Lugansk region. In particular, it remains the lowest among the workers of social protection institutions (on average - 5,657 rubles), culture (5,980 rubles), education (6,826 rubles) and health care (7,258 rubles). Since October 1, 2017, a minimum salary has been established as 3,241 rubles in the territory of the "LNR", the official salary of an employee of the 1st level of the "United tariff scale of categories for the remuneration of employees in the public sector" is 3,242 rubles.

The management of Rovenkyantratsit (part of CJSC Vneshtorgservis, which manages the "nationalized" enterprises in LDNR) is considering the possibility of stopping the operation of the mine named after Vahruchev due to the lack of proper material support (parts, etc.).

On the territory of the occupied areas of the Lugansk region delay in payment of wages is 3 months at the mines Komsomolskaya, No. 54 (Anthracit), Samsonovskaya Zapadnaya, Sukhodolskaya Vostochnaya, named after Barakova "(Sorokino, former Krasnodon).

At the “Donetsk Metallurgical Plant” there is a critical situation with the supply of raw materials for the stable operation of the enterprise. In connection with this, illegal dismantling of metal structures of abandoned facilities of the enterprise is carried out.
