Odd story, Energy drinks, hole in head?

I have a lot of questions regarding this unfortunately none of it answered in this article.

I don’t do energy drinks, but if I don’t get at least some caffeine every day I get a bit pissy.

I would guess that he blew a blood vessel and they had to remove that much skull to fix it.

Pretty bad thing to happen....

What i read on Fox it was a brain hemorrhage. They requested an interview from family but got turned down. I also read some very nasty comments on a few websites that ran this story. Very sad how many people out there that do not have compassion any more. It was doctors who speculate the cause was the energy drinks. There have now been two cases that I have heard about. The other was a man I believe that was in his late 50s but now where near this extent.

I try to avoid sugary products in general.

That sounds too bizarre to be true. I suppose things can happen, but looking at the pictures?

Just as bizarre, look at people who breath through a hole in their chest/neck from throat-lung cancer/smoking. Yet still puff those cigarettes right through that hole. And others who see that and still choose to start smoking.

Same will go for 'energy drinks'. People will see this and keep pumping those concentrated poisons into their bodies. Bizarre. Sad.

And these are legal drugs. Heroine, cocaine, LSD, etc, take it to another level.

I too drink coffee daily so can't preach to those that drink the stuff. At least my coffee is weaker than most, but yes I am addicted to caffeine. Mornings are just bad without it. The energy drinks just take it more to the extremes. My son used to drink them a lot but started getting chest pains and finally wised up.

I'll go with the old;coffee,even doing the graveyard shift, don't know what it is but I get the gags by just the smell of these energy drinks.

Normally We make a pot of coffee in the morning , My Wife has 1 cup I drink the rest . To much caffeine but I dont want any the rest of the day . This year Im doing My turn running the 3rd shift till next Feb so I've doubled that .
Energy drinks are a different thing . They have caffeine, loads of sugar , large dose of some vitamins . Hole in the skull must be from surgery?
I have heard of repetitive lifting causeing the mussels to pull on the lower skull enough to cause a hole in the skull allowing brain fluid to leak into the inner ear and sinus cavity . Causing lack of balance and blacking out at high altitude. I sometimes wonder if I have that . I dont have to do alot of lifting at work but with all the caffeine and stress to get stuff done and just wanting to set a example I work My a** off .

No comments on the actual situation, but as far as the article goes...Yahoo got the story from AOL...AOL got the story from Facebook.

energy drinks are a scam to fleece the gullible ,,,,,,,for the most part they taste bad and do nothing for you that a can of soda will not do
